🌿 A NEW CHAPTER FOR THE SHIRE SEAMSTRESS 🧵
After 50 years of working with my hands, I’ve been reflecting on how I want my work and creative life to evolve. Caring for my hands has become an important part of that journey, and I’m embracing this next chapter with renewed purpose, creativity and enthusiasm.
The good news is that I’m not putting my needle down! 🪡
I remain deeply passionate about mending, alterations and refashioning clothing and other textiles, and I’ll continue to offer these services.
But there’s something new on the horizon…
✨ I’m ready to share what I know!
With decades of practical experience and professional training, I’m excited to begin offering sewing and refashioning classes in 2027.
I’m currently developing weekend term classes in Refashioning and Basic Sewing, designed to help you build practical skills, explore your creativity and discover the satisfaction of making, mending and transforming textiles.
Whether you’re a beginner wanting to learn the basics or someone keen to breathe new life into your wardrobe, I look forward to helping you on your creative journey.
