Maitland’s creative scene just got a major upgrade. If you haven’t checked it out yet, The Studio Maitland is a new independent art space that just opened up over on Garnett Road, run by local artist Kimberly Swan.
It’s an entirely screen-free, hands-on workshop space designed to let you just zone out and create.
No ego, no pressure, just good design and process-based art.
If you’re looking for a creative outlet or want to get your kids off iPads and into making tangible things, her lineup is incredibly solid:
* For Adults: Unwind at casual Sip & Create nights, jump into weekend masterclasses, or build actual technical fundamentals in her foundational art sessions.
