I'm a working mum who understands the demands of juggling a busy mother's many hats as well as having to cater to specific dietary requirements (I'm vegetarian and my family isn't which means I can't check the food I serve!) or simply eating preferences - let's face it, we do what we can to get them to eat their veggies (yes that includes my husband!). Working 50+ hrs a week and rushing to pick my
children up from their family day cares, getting food on the table, showers and bedtime - I was never going to get these years back. So when my daughter was 2.5yrs, I decided to leave the corporate life behind and focus on my family. I could help other mums, the way other amazing family day care mums had been there for me. And so my own family day care was born. I'm passionate about helping others - and it turns out I have a knack for getting kids to eat and sleep. Who would've thought 🤷 Pretty important stuff as it turns out! Then when my daughter was 5, a friend introduced me to Thermomix. I was never going to spend $2k+ on a kitchen appliance though... This amazing friend wasn't even a consultant and when she went on holidays, she brought her TM5 to my house and said, just play... well HELLO!The next 2 weeks were life changing. In that time, I decided not only to get my own Thermomix, but also that I was going to start providing food in my Family Day Care. I was now able to create meal plans and menus with ease, shop specifically what we needed and cook without ever needing to chop or stir again! And I haven't even told you that I literally do all of this one handed - in fact I do life pretty much one handed... These days, that includes mum life, family day care, pet sitting, crafting, driving, cooking... I've even done the entire Treetops Adventure course one handed because this is all I know. Can you imagine cooking everything from scratch and never having to chop, knead, grate, stir etc manually ever again?
