LAYOUT 5: Lovely This is the second of two layouts in this set that I utilised the FLORAL FLIGHT ACCENTS as the embellishments. It has now retired but you could replace it with any black embellishments you have in your stash. If you have them, you can trace around the flower component onto some scraps of the coourful ombre paper and adhere it to the black embellishment. I have chosen some Cloud Cover cardstock as the base (rather than Pool Party) to match with the Lost Lagoon featured cardstock. Cutting a width of the chevron pattern and colouring in every other stripe creates a new kind of strip like a matching zip strip. LAYOUT 4: SPECIAL DAY This is the first of two layouts in this set that I utilised the FLORAL FLIGHT ACCENTS as the embellishments. There is just a touch of that multi-coloured stripe that creates a nice horizontal focal point on the layout. LAYOUT 3: Happy Birthday I wasn't quite sure how to use this patterned paper... and then I found a little stamp icon (3 chevrons) from the EXTRAORDINARY LIFE stamp set (167713) that fit perfectly in the gaps of the pattern and I transformed it into something that was a little less like flower petals. This suite has a whole bunch of Print-and-Cut embellishments that I offer with my suite bundle (more info below). And with this layout I have brought those colours out and provided some horizontal grounding with tiny strips of the colour. LAYOUT 2: PARTY A POP of Black is always a winner when you are playing with colour. And in this layout it is link between the soft pastel polka dot and the more colourful embellishments I have created. Using the Basic Black cardstock which has a solid black core is perfect for the Cricut cuts too. This suite has a whole bunch of Print-and-Cut embellishments that I offer with my suite bundle (more info below). Note that the larger Pool Party pieces are the remnants cut from frames used in the last layout in this series so nothing goes to waste. That multi-coloured stripe creates some "book ends" in this layout with loads of room for photos of all sizes and orientations. LAYOUT 1: Life is Better... First lets give credit to the lovely Kelly Baxter-Fitzgerald (USA Demonstrator) that shared this cute Cricut cut circle frame from her design. I also used her full layout design as a jumping off point and made a few modifications to make it my own. This suite has a whole bunch of Print-and-Cut embellishments that I offer with my suite bundle (more info below). And I love the simplicity of the doodle-like hearts I made for this layout which already has so much going for it. That multi-coloured stripe is the whole reason I love this pack and I stretch it across many layouts as that pop of colour that pulls your in. LAYOUT 7: Balloons In designing this layout I was able to showcase all the different patterned sheets in the BEAUTIFUL ORDINARY LIFE paper pack. Even the little strips of chevron stripe cut into tiny strips that separate the wider strips. It features the Balloon Festoon Dies and stamps as well as the Extraorginary Life Bundle that is part of the set that goes with this paper suite. I have used some Flip Flaps (optional extra) because I used this layout to showcase the balloons and flip flaps we shared at a recent Expo. My workshop attendees will receive this as the Class Kit in September 2026. LAYOUT 7: SUMMER The design of this layout came about from 3 things: - The coloured die-cut chairs, the idea of which I saw on a card from Demonstrator Jennifer Boer-Yager who presented at our Conference with this bundle. - The leftovers I had to play with - The desire to do something different. Now the different, was more about me being able to lean into my natural colour palette which is bright. The striped piece I had reminded me of a the type of pool I had as a child, with the corrugated metal frame and bright blue plastic liner. So if you are as old as me and have memories of this, then you might also see that this panel across the middle is made to look just like that. Does it make sense that the water is in the air? Nope! But I did it anyway. And then this layout was where I really did my appretticeship with Cricut Print-and-Cut. And No... it wasn't that hard at all. My favourite is the SUMMER vibes title. Now to find some photos that go with this layout... or take some this Summer in our backyard pool. LAYOUT 6: BEAUTIFUL Of all the papers in this pack, this paper is just perfect for allowing scenic and outdoor photos to shine through. The colours are complementary without the pattern dominating. And whilst the actualy layout format is quite simple to complete I wanted to add some technique and treatment to the page to offer some more advanced options. I'll give credit for the thread around the large letters to my friend Jennifer Smith (demonstrator in Canada) who I cased this idea from. Thread is not normally something I naturally reach for but this looks so great for a coastal or seaside vibe. Then given I already had the Mask/template set out for another layout in this suite, I used the dotted lines one to create some texture on the plain cardstock behind the title. I did take a little artistic license with the colour of the cardstock. Because although Pool Party is mentioned as a pairing colour, I felt Cloud Cover went better. The cut-aparts in this pack went perfectly with my photo theme and I will often grab for the CAPTURING SMILES bundle when I just need a little something-something to feature on a scenic or photographic moment layout. Insetting the whole layout on White Willow just seemed line the right thing to do to create the sense of a frame and you can't go past SECRET SEA cardstock - do you agree? LAYOUT 5: Take me to the Ocean This paper pack has a 12"x12" sheet featuring seagulls flying across the page from bottom right to top left and I have been able to cut this in half and used it across the top to still feature it without having to forego photo space. For the water feature I have cut along some of the wave lines paper with a blade, inked the edge and lifted it with some foam adhesive, without actually cutting strips away. I have used one strip but the rest is a full piece with slices through it along the waves. The stamped Seagulls are from a retired stamp set that I got FOR FREE during a previous SALE-A-BRATION promotion. but I have fussy-cut many of the embellishments from the paper itself. I love to make a wood paling pattern more life-like by cutting shapes around the top, and this is what I have done to form the pier-like base. It is not shown in this photo (as I made it later) but I added a Cricut Print-and-cut Title (available with my bundle) to this layout which says "Take me to the OCEAN". LAYOUT 7: Everyday Life Diagonal stripes challenge me? What about you? They are just not my favourite thing to work with... not sure why. But I am pretty. Happy with how this simple design of cutting along the Lings of the diagonal to create several pieces has turned out. Creating the three focal points with the Azure Afternoon (blue) helps to create a place for the eye to follow and rest. The title was created with some of the Stampin’ Up! (now retired) ephemera pack.
