Pappa Sven is a Scandinavian homewares store, located in the beautiful city of Newcastle, Australia. I fell in love with EVERYTHING about Scandinavia during a recent 10 month experience living in Skelleftea, in the very North of Sweden, and am passionate about bringing a small piece of this back to Australia. This experience, combined with my Textile Science degree and a long love of natural fibres and fabrics seems like the perfect combination for starting Pappa Sven.

It’s Norways National Day this Sunday, May 17 and we’ve had a beautiful delivery of cosy woollens straight from Bergen on the west coast ready to celebrate. has been a family run business using Norwegian wool for almost 100 years (I am also very excited to be visiting their factory this August 🥰) and we love having this ‘touch of Norway’ at Pappa Sven 🇳🇴 ❤️
