I'm getting back in the groove of posting with this glorious custom sofa we recently made for a stylish Merewether family.
Sofa by MOLMIC and its one of my favourites- with deep feather seats, a buttoned back and adorable turned feet.
The fabric is a wide width heavy linen in the most heavenly colour called Oxid from our friends at The Textile Company.
This piece is beyond comfortable and will last a lifetime.

I've had a short break from my business and a longer break from posting content this year.
Late in 2025 my brother was given a terminal cancer diagnosis. After an almighty fight, we lost him the weekend before last.
Matthew was always a beloved ray of sunshine in my family. He and I, although 7 years apart, always clicked. We had good times and good banter.
Matthew leaves behind 3 young boys and a community of broken hearts. 46 is way too young to die and 53 is too young to lose a brother you assumed would be around your whole lifetime.
I have some work from earlier in the year that I will start posting but for now enjoy this photo from a time when babies wore colossal towelling nappies held together by lethally large safety pins and kids only needed a worn out trolley and each other to be entertained.

This chair had seen better days but it was nothing that some new springs, new strapping and fresh blue stripe recover couldn't fix.
Some fabrics just work and clients pick them over and over again. I think this blue cotton stripe from Wortley might be one of those.

Some rooms require a very paired back chair sitting in the window. This was one of those rooms.
This minimalist space, in Hamilton East, was a thoughtful arrangement of natural materials, tribal artworks and antiques- all smiling together in the most amazing egg yolk walls.
The chair, in an ivory cotton/linen blend is just perfect.

They work with any interior style, blocking light, softening and providing privacy.

My version of Pantone of the year, Cloud Dancer- obviously mixing up textures for a palette like this- bleached oak + chunky wool + grasscloth + boucle + floaty sheers + embroidery + ceramic + cotton fringing + lime washed rattan.

I also like to include subtle elements of warmth which can work wonders.

Also, keep in mind that a styled flatlay can look very appealing but the realities of modern life have to be considered when designing any interior. In short, this is beautiful but not practical. 🤔😄
