We make what we sell and love sharing what we do with creative workshops. Often Artists and makers work in isolation, so the opportunity to work together collaboratively in a retail environment has been refreshing and challenging. We started as a pop up shop and are now in our fifth year of popping. Every time we move shops we manage to create a beautiful space and just love setting it up each time. Come and support local, and meet the maker.

Monday Meet the Maker: Sandy from Sandy Sutton ceramics
Today we’re introducing the lovely Sandy!
Sandy is one of our ceramic makers, creating a beautiful (and very varied!) collection of handmade pottery. From mugs in all shapes and sizes to bowls, little dishes, vases and tiny houses, there’s always something different to discover on her shelves.
She also creates ceramic earrings and pendants, each one completely different, plus her lovely pocket rocks (small tactile ceramic stones with different patterns and textures, perfect for rubbing with your thumb when your fingers need something to do.)
That’s one of the things we love most about Sandy’s work: no two pieces are ever the same. Different shapes, glazes, textures and little handmade details give every piece its own personality.

Sandy is creating her beautiful pieces from our Georgetown ceramic studio, so you’ll often find her there working away on her next batch of pottery. 🤎

Monday Meet the Maker: Amber from wanderlustfragrances 🌿
If you’ve ever stopped to smell the soaps at Creative Village (and then smelled another… and another 😂), chances are you’ve discovered Amber’s beautiful range.
Amber is the maker behind Wanderlust Fragrances, creating gorgeous skin, body and home products using natural ingredients and oils, with a focus on thoughtful, sustainable choices.
Her soaps are definitely a shop favourite, they look beautiful, smell AMAZING and make such an easy little gift (or treat for yourself!). But there’s plenty more to discover too: bath bombs, shower butters, mists, hand & body yoghurts, candles and lots of other deliciously scented goodies.
With more than 20 years’ experience as a beauty therapist, Amber brings her knowledge of skincare into everything she creates while her love of travel inspires many of the scents and names throughout her range. ✨
