Choosing window coverings is about more than finding a style you like.
Before you commit, ask a few questions that can make a big difference to the quality, timing and service you receive.
Where are they manufactured?
“Australian made” doesn’t always mean the entire product is made here. Some products are manufactured overseas and simply assembled or fitted in Australia. Ask where the actual components are made.
What’s the actual lead time?
If you’re quoted 6–8 weeks, ask why. Where is the product being made?
What does the warranty cover?
Just the hardware, or the material, finish and installation too?
What material am I getting?
PVC, composite timber, aluminium and hardwood all have different benefits, limitations and price points. Make sure you know exactly what you’re paying for.
Who do I contact if something goes wrong?
Are you dealing directly with the manufacturer and installer, or relying on a supplier or third party?
At Masterclass, our aluminium shutters are made locally in Newcastle, backed by a Lifetime Guarantee and Price Beat Guarantee, with direct support from our owner Craig.
Ask the questions. Know what you’re getting. Then choose Masterclass.
