When designing, I’m always thinking how the elements of design work together to create impact, movement and a sense of cohesion within the space.

And I absolutely love working with colour! The way it can create vibrancy, depth and a sense of playful expression goes beyond the blooms themselves.

Behind The Logo ✦ Designing the Viva Le Fiori logo was initially created for my tshirts but it quickly became a symbol to be used throughout the entire branding.

I was looking forward to share this deeper insight to the inspiration behind it, especially because of Mary, my Nonna’s cousin’s wedding photo. So stunning in every way and check out that bouquet she’s holding! Some awesome wiring work which is truly significant of traditional floral design.

It blends my passion for art, giving a nod to one of my favourite design periods, Art Nouveau, alongside my love for music, in particular the 1970’s. All while having a beautiful, personal reference photo makes it that much more special to represent our muse of Viva Le Fiori.

Tools of the trade ✮ Bridal bouquet ribboning before getting packed and ready for delivery.

I was inspired by pointe shoe prep videos to make a florist’s take when ribboning bouquets. There are so many different ways to ribbon and over time each florist develops their own individual technique. Mine has seen many variations across the years, always refining what works best for my practice.
