✨ A Dream Build Unfolds ✨

If ever there was a new build to get excited about, this is the one, Project Sanctuary! 🤩

After four years in the making, we’re now finalizing material selections for this exceptional luxury family home. Early on, we crafted a clear design direction, and since then, it’s been an inspiring collaboration among architect, interior designer, landscape designer, and client.

With concept plans, elevations, exteriors, and landscaping approved — including estate building clearances — it’s game on here in the studio!

In the coming weeks, I’ll be sourcing and refining the materials, finishes, and fixtures to bring this exquisite vision to life. Last week, my ground floor recommendations were client-approved, so I’ve been meticulously documenting every detail in preparation for our next meeting to lock in the selections for the upper floor.

This design showcases a blend of soft creamy tones, bold statement stones, rich textures, and timeless detailing — an organic and nurturing palette that balances elegance with comfort and functionality.

Confession time…. I’m addicted and I can’t help it ! 🫣

You know how some people collect shoes or hats or teapots? Well I’m a little bit different in that way. It seems I’ve become addicted to tiles. Yep that’s right, interior design always takes an over in my world and it’s the humble tile on top of the list.

If you missed my stories over the Xmas break I gave my deign studio a bit of a DIY makeover. But of course before I could even charge the drill or dip a brush in the paint tin, there was a huge clean up and sorting of my design samples first.

Things like stone, tiles, carpets, paint swatches, tiles, handles, laminates, tile, timber flooring. Oh and did I mention tiles? 🥺

So even after lugging a heavy crate of old discontinued tiles to the shed (no idea what to do with them really, any suggestions?) how is it that my stash of tile samples continues to grow???

You can only imagine how excited I was to discover these 2 new ranges from called Shoreline and London.

Excited because
a) it’s something new (A type creative here) and
b) the color palette is absolutely beautiful and I can already see how well they’ll work together in a clients renovation or new build 🙌🏼
