Just spent a couple of weeks coming up with a new system...called the " Field Stand Extra " some cnc but mostly hand made ...2 coats of weather proofing wax and lots of sanding to get a really great finish ...Spread appox 60 " but has options to be expanded...
that now makes 3 sizes of stands that are available to carry models from foamies to XXL ...with the XL Plus Field Stand 100" spread...

l have adapted our new Wing Station component now to mate with the Solid Base Field Stand system attaches with just 2 wing nuts ..folds flat when not in use just great for a one man operation...can be set to 4 positions so will carry any model configuration like fixed undercarriage the price $O. .that's right it will be included free of charge with any purchase of our "Solid Base Field Stand " now that's a pleasant change in today's world ...but there again you are dealing with Teddy

these are just the approx main settings with many other in between...
now how to pack looks like 3..maybe 4 boxes l will set the price at US $275 delivered any where in the world all fees paid via air ...lets start there ...the price of the stand will be US$1275...it is 90% hand crafted...looks like each build will be a week + ??...but you have to start somewhere ...on receiving an enquiry and the buyer is under no obligation l will make contact with the buyer and seek the specs on the model to be carried so l can custom make the aircraft hardpoint supports systems as they will all be different ..and confirm the stand will comply ....all inclusive ...also under development in a Wing Station which will be included in the price ..that's it in the early photos ..feel free to ask any questions via my email ...[email protected] .....the rest of the photos are just showing different settings ...thanks for your time ..

Well its finally finished and will be called "XL PLUS FIELD STAND " l have made it easy to transport like in the back of our SUV with the removal of just 2 bolts ...also this will be of great assistance in keeping down the price for transport for such a long system...the photos show one half been dissembled and a practice pack to see how many boxes will be required and come up with a quote on costs ...next post will be all the specs of the XL Plus heights ..spreads ..weight .. and costs delivered anywhere in the world ...

If you go back to past posts you will see l have been coming up with a new idea for a stand that will carry and support very large RC models l am not talking 100 inches long but much bigger XXL size ,they will be custom made to suit your requested specs EG say a jet ...distance from rear of front landing gear doors to leading wing edge then say appox the distance from the trailing wing edge to a point midway to tail assemble with a photo attached .. then the length of the retracts from the bottom of the fuselage to the ground ..these are very early days but with no financial commitment from you l will reply if my custom build stand will be able to fill all your requirements ...in the photos you will see the standard SB Field Stand and protypes XL and XXL in the foreground...l think l have come up with a stand to cover all bases the" XL Plus Field Stand" under development as we speak .if it works as well as l think it will be a game changer ..the Audi in the background which is 175 inches long gives you some idea of their size .please stay turned and thanks for your time ...

For a couple of years now l have been experimenting with different size stands to carry very large models ..XL and XXL size ...just starting on a system that l think will be able to carry both the above but will be able to break down into a package under appox 40" long and so will be very economical to post around the world ...the Skymaster Viper is just under 100" long as to is the T-33...both these models are being carried by our standard S B Field Stand which has a spread of 56" extended..the XL model 72" and the XXL 88" appox.l have found rule of thumb to date that they will carry a model double that spread ...keeping in mind you have an area that measures from behind the nose wheel undercarriage door to the leading edge of the wing or air intakes and the trailing edge to appox midway to the tail section ...so both the T-33 and Viper although being 100' long will be carried by a 56" spread as shown in the pictures...just making what will be called the "XL Plus Field Stand " with removable castors and transport handle so you can move around from the trailer to the flight line and also move by yourself in the shed at home ...the stand will also be able to transport the model to the flying field in the trailer when folded flat ...when completed l shall furnish all specs ...if you would like to share this post with others that would be a great help ...any questions just e -mail me ..check our on line store to view payment options available....

Had a fun day sunday at Badmac club for my maiden with a Draco model ...flies really great but landing is going to take some practice...one of the chaps there suggested l needed more stick time but l always thought when l was a kid that too much of that and you would go blind ...🤓

Been busy coming up with a new product witch when completed will carry XXL models ...here is one of the prototypes to give you an idea of the size spread from appox 56" to 73" working height 33" in raised position...in transport mode to the flying field
[when folded flat ] 56" to 74" the final system which is nearly completed will be made as a custom order ...you send photo of model with suggested hard points and l will make a stand to suit ...all the same price ...but this one will break down into under 39" sections so it can be posted via AUSPOST which l have found by a long shot most completive price courier....outriggers will support heavy models without too much lateral movement and a detachable castor platform makes for one person being able to move model around the shed to build on or store ...the T 33 in the backround is 100" long to give you a perspective as to the size of this system ...no more having to Neal on the ground to set model up for flight or work on the undercarriage...just flip it upside down and it will be held secure...there is even a folding handle to move the model around at the field ...will post photos and spec's of the new XXL Field Stand when completed ... 🤓
