Zangers Bangers Authentic African sausages made from a blend of spices sourced from Africa. And there Zangers Bangers was born. But what is Boerewors?

We spent years trying to find that truly African Boerewors taste in Australia what we got was never like that nostalgic taste from when we were young. We eventually realised that the only way to fulfill our desire for that great African tasting sausage would be to create it ourselves. Initially we shared the few experimental sausages we made with our family and friends. We continued to experiment

until we created the superior and traditional tasting sausage. With much encouragement and a lot of hesitation from our end we decided that we would help deliver that "Authentic African Taste" for all Australians to enjoy. Boerewors is a type of sausage which originated in Southern Africa. It is an important part of Southern African cuisine. The name is derived from the Afrikaans words boer ("farmer") and wors ("sausage").
