Hello beautiful people,

Thank you for all your ongoing support in building Mode Design House.
For all my new followers…This is me, Nicole.

I’m the founder and creative director behind Mode Design House, but that’s just one part of the story.

I’m also a wife, a proud mother of three beautiful girls, and my beautiful Groodle Portia.

Virgo | Manifesting Generator 6/2, which basically means I live with a full heart and a hundred open tabs.
Values: inclusion, integrity and truth.

Greatest achievement? My family, hands down.

One of my biggest roles in life is being a fierce advocate for my daughter, who lives with Angelman Syndrome. She’s taught me more about joy, resilience, and presence than I ever thought possible.

Flowers, French music, antiques, red wine with friends, open spaces with abundance of nature, slow, quiet and intentional moments, the embraces of my children - Gratitude for each day.

When I’m not designing, you’ll find me rearranging furniture (again), tracking down vintage chairs like it’s a sport, dreaming of Europe, or chasing the sunlight in something yellow (always yellow — it’s my happy colour).

Design for me isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about energy, intention, and making spaces feel like they truly belong to the people inside them.

If you’re into homes that feel honest, effortless and aligned, we’re going to get along just fine.

Okay… can we just take a moment for this kitchen?

I honestly love how it all came together, it just feels right. The textures, the light, the warmth… it’s calm and grounded but still feels like a bit of a showstopper, in the softest way.

There’s nothing over-styled or to loud about it. It’s just a really beautiful space that works for the family and brings everything together in the home.

Kitchens really are the heartbeat of the house, and this one just sings. So proud of this one. - Nicole xx
