This week we added another layer to our canvas’s!

Our Mini Artists were brave and even allowed their younger siblings to get involved and add their mark! Team work makes the dream work. Love watching these artworks and artists grow through a world of wonder, imagination and discovery.

Honestly this could be my favourite selection of kids art activities we have ever had! I can not wait to see you all there.

If you haven’t created a junk journal before… you need to. It’s fun and relaxing while learning new skills in book binding, collage, composition and personal reflection.

We are excited to open this class for adults, after all the requests. Teens are also welcome to join you if they wish.

Tania Vrancic will be running the class. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge. Her classes are full of quality and quantity of the best little pieces and papers … your imagination will run wild.

In this busy world, take a moment to come play, have some fun and be mindful. You deserve it.

We loved having the Noosa Twilight Market last week on Gateway Drive. Sunshine Coast Music and Events put on a spectacular event bringing together food, drinks, art, dancers, live music and activities.

Do you know what an art cafe is? If not take a minute to read below!

3. We bring the art experience to your table
4. Create, make and relax. Enjoy the experience

We are excited to have local artist Tania Vrancic back to teach at The Maker house. This time with Gelli Printing!

We love celebrating the magic of childhood at The Maker House.

In the winter school holiday we made Tooth Fairy boxes and kids hand sewed their own little tooth pillow for their box.

Our classes aim to give kids the following:
- experience with different materials
- exploration and discovery in their own creative journey
- new skills and techniques
- challenges and problems to solve that increase creative thinking, problem solving and resilience.
- and so much more.

It’s THEIR little moments of success, pride in what THEY create and joy of showing their parents that make our hearts burst.
