Seriously, I am so passionate about the value of creativity in modern society!
Now more than ever we need to soak up the act of being still and making.
Reflect and process all the chaos in a simple act of making.
Self regulate and express in pictures what we cannot describe with words.
Develop creative and critical thinking in a world flooded with visuals, media, marketing, voices and opinions.
Using creativity to invent, repurpose, and find new ways of using the technology and information so easily and readily available at our finger tips. It is no longer a matter of what we know it is how we use it, apply it, adapt it and create it.
So yes, if you are fooled by the thought it is “just art” you are wrong! It’s a way of thinking, a way of appreciating the world around you, a way of critically and creatively solving problems with new and imaginative insights. To be honest… something less pushed by systems as they drive others to be replicas… creativity drives individuality!
