Just got around to putting the pictures together for the I completed recently. Each model and base is picked out with to bring it to life with some warpstone / magic glowing effects.



Had a absolute blast painting them, wanted to keep it a bit different so went with dark and copper armour for the most part, happy with the glowing effects as well, came out really well for the most part.

I have not yet decided on the colours I'll be using for the Lizardmen army, but I think its paired with Chaos, so I will be going with dark metals and red glowing for them I suspect.

So, I just finished up the Spearhead and the Spearheads from the part works magazine.

I have wanted to challenge myself to keep on top of the releases and actually paint them up and finish them, rather than adding to the thousands of sheets of grey plastic I have in the loft and office.

I further wanted to develop my working process with and ensure that every single miniature has some focal points of lighting. In most cases the weapons allowed for this, but I wanted to expand into the bases to get more coverage, so turning some rocks into seemed to do the job.

Will post separately the Stormcast set, but I had a total blast paiting the Skaven, the new models are fantastic.

Sent this one off to its new home last week, first attempt at OSL and wire lightning.

Thankfully GW sent me a second one so I can do another with red OSL to match the wider project.

Epic miniature to paint definitely one of the coolest releases for a while.

Few stills of my recently completed Death Company Captain. I have been wanting to essentially create the entire chapter as a legion at some stage, showing them as a fallen force.

I need to figure out Dante though, broken wings and violence.

The dark armour does allow for the red osl though which I think works nicely with the Blood Angels.

Recent work on a Jump Chaplain, wasn't expecting to see one being previewed on pretty much the day I finished painting this one up!

Blood Angels Jump Chaplain

I have been working on these models for a little while, wanting to try and add a little to my painting, whilst noticing a glaring hole in the lineup of Blood Angles in the current edition, it looks like heard me as they released the preview on the day I finished this guy.

Staff is taken from issue 1 model, mixed with a and a jump pack.

I have done him in a style, but thanks to the dark armour he could be used a bit more widely.

Bit of a coincidental day of finishing up this Jump Pack Chaplain yesterday and getting him ready for photographing. Please to see the new model is on its way.

Based this one off the Judiciar Model (which I love), and some parts from issue 1 of Spearhead, a printed jump pack and some Greytide shoulderpads.

Continuing my learning process in object source lighting.

by had an absolute blast working on this one, getting the base built up and brought to life, then toning the layers across the zombies and unifying them with the rest of the cart.

A definite favourite from the that's for sure. Basing bits by Epic Basing and paints mostly from Monument Hobbies with some blood effects thrown into the mix and inks from akinteractive
