The details that get the most use.

While fixtures and finishes might not be what makes a design unique, it’s precisely the details people interact with daily. That’s where quality, longevity, and intention truly show.

Small decisions carefully curated for long-term impact.

Space design that respects the rituals.

Interior spaces are often much more than simply functional. Spaces full of personality such as this take care of the routines that make the house truly a home.

A carefully laid out design makes everyday life fuller.

Curves soften things off beautifully.

Sometimes a little curvature makes a big difference, creating contrast while adding some softness to the space. The result is a well-balanced space, with hard lines and curves, that come together in an elegant and more interesting composition.

Sometimes all you need for a strong presence is some soft forms.

Designing for experience, not just appearance.

Interior spaces designed with the flow and movement of people in mind make the experience of a space more enjoyable overall. The design is merely the consequence of many carefully planned decisions.

Good design is felt before it’s noticed.

A moment of pause.

Not every space needs to be filled and knowing when to stop is key. Creating visual breathing room allows key elements to stand out and gives the space a more refined, elegant, and intentional feel.

Restraint is a design decision.

My favourite projects are the ones that feel luxurious, yet comfortable and inviting.

Everything from materials to finishes has been carefully selected and incorporated in order to highlight the details of the composition as well as enhance the overall experience. Creating an atmosphere through texture and tone, the design provides a welcoming environment that feels warm and unique.

Why leave a kitchen flat and with no colour, when you can make it vibrant and interesting?

Texture changes everything.

Even the simplest forms become interesting when texture is introduced. It adds depth, warmth, and a tactile quality that elevates the entire space.

Flat design rarely feels complete.

Some projects stay with you.

We are proud to share that the Middle Cove residence Marj Silva was part of has recently sold, with The Sydney Morning Herald reporting the sale at around $12.5 million.

Once owned by the late Channel Nine newsreader Brian Henderson, the home was thoughtfully reimagined through a two-year renovation, with Marj Silva enlisted as interior designer alongside builder Tony Kerle.

From steel-framed windows and oak parquetry floors to Calacatta Viola marble, bronze hardware and a sculptural concrete fluted bath, the home reflects the level of detail that makes a space feel both elevated and deeply considered.

A beautiful project, a remarkable home, and a meaningful chapter to be part of.
