One of the biggest misconceptions in flooring is that every subfloor should be prepared using a straight edge.

In reality, some subfloors can be so far out of level that blindly following a straight edge isn't always the best solution.

For this project, we wrapped the staircase while maintaining the original curved step design, creating a seamless flow from tread to tread without losing the architectural shape of the staircase.

A lot of people don’t realise the amount of detail involved in work like this. Every cut, every bend, and every finish line matters when you’re working with engineered timber on curved stairs. Done properly, it completely changes the feel of the home.

This is the difference between simply installing flooring… and crafting a staircase properly.
