The Good Food Project Nundah

The Good Food Project Nundah The Good Food Project Nundah is a social enterprise that supports people with disadvantage through food, education and community.

Espresso Train is joining Brisbane’s food truck scene with our ‘Good Food Trailer', where a good feed does a good deed. We’re really excited to not only be expanding our business, but also be able to increase opportunities for disadvantaged members of our community. The Good Food Trailer is staffed by refugees, asylum seekers and people with disabilities, and has several available menus of great

food options. These include many traditional and fusion dishes of people we work with from the new Aussie community, such as Syrian, Persian, Sri Lankan and Bhutanese. Supporting our business means real work and training opportunities for people who face barriers to employment, and that means the world to us.

Our Story

The Good Food Project Nundah is a social enterprise staffed by refugees, asylum seekers and people with barriers to employment. We run a food trailer, catering services, private cooking classes and sell world food products, including traditional hand-crafted spice mixes and chocolates made by our world-class chocolatier. Our menus include many traditional and fusion dishes of people we work with from cultures all over the globe, such as Syrian, South Sudanese, Persian, Sri Lankan and Bhutanese.

We are proud to derive all our income from trade; meaning we are not reliant on charity or funding to operate. Our staff are involved in all facets of business development, which has led to a self-sustaining, grass-roots business that is the product of hard work, love and care from all of us. Our staff are also encouraged and supported to gain accredited training in Hospitality and/or Kitchen Operations should they wish. Supporting our business means real work and training opportunities for people who face barriers to employment, and that means the world to us.
