The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a Severe Weather Warning for Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula
- Damaging south-westerly winds averaging 55 to 65 km/h with gusts around 100 km/h are expected to develop in Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula between 10pm and 4am.
- Winds are expected to ease by sunrise Saturday.
- This Watch and Act message replaces the Advice issued on Friday at 12.21pm.

Prepare to take shelter and be aware of potential hazards caused by the severe weather. Hazards include damaged buildings, trees down and fallen powerlines.
