❤️ OUR FINAL WEEK AT CHALK & WILLOW ❤️

Well... here we are.

After all the years, all the paint, all the workshops, all the furniture, all the laughs and the many, many wonderful people who have walked through our doors, this is officially our FINAL WEEK in the Chalk & Willow shop.

That feels VERY strange to write! 🥹

Our final opening days will be:

Thursday 3 September | 10am–3pm
Friday 4 September | 10am–3pm
Saturday 5 September | 9am–12pm

And because we couldn't possibly slip quietly into our final week...

🎉 THERE WILL BE A DIFFERENT SPECIAL EVERY DAY! 🎉

Starting tomorrow morning, keep an eye on our page for a new offer each day as we work our way through the remaining Chalk & Willow stock.

Some will be available online, some in store, and there are still lots of beautiful things waiting to find their new homes.

So if you've been thinking “I'll grab that later…” — I think we've officially reached later. 😂

Please keep checking the page each morning because once something is gone, it's gone.

FOR SALE - 🤍 RUSTIC SOLID TIMBER CONSOLE 🤍

Another piece looking for its new home as we continue clearing out!

This beautiful solid timber console has been part of our own home and has that gorgeous relaxed, rustic character that works so beautifully in country, farmhouse and coastal-style interiors.

The timber has been deliberately crafted with pitting, small holes, knots and textural detailing as part of its original design and manufacture, giving it an authentically aged and time-worn appearance.

It features a central solid timber drawer with traditional dovetail joints, together with a long lower shelf that's perfect for baskets, books, pots or your favourite styling pieces.

At 134cm wide, it's a really useful size for an entryway, hallway or living room — and as you can see from the styled photo, it looks absolutely gorgeous dressed up. 🤍

Early 20th Century Maple Sideboard | Beautiful Original Character

Gorgeous early timber sideboard, believed to date from around the 1920s–30s, with lovely Art Nouveau/early Art Deco influences.

This one was simply too beautiful to paint. The original timber has been cleaned and gently rejuvenated with dark furniture wax, retaining its wonderful aged patina and character.

Features include two generous drawers (one divided into three sections), two cupboards with a shelf running the full width, beautiful original decorative door hardware, replacement period-appropriate drawer pulls and its original aged furniture label. There are working locks on both of these doors.

This is an old piece and proudly shows its history. There are marks and variations consistent with age, including a visible mark on the top — clearly shown in the photographs in the comments. It has intentionally not been heavily sanded or refinished.

A beautiful, practical piece with loads of storage and so much character.

You lovely lot are amazing! My first batch of 15 personalised Christmas mice has filled already (with one little stowaway making it 16 😂).

I'm going to close orders for the moment while I get happily stitching. Once I've worked my way through these, I'll decide whether to open another small batch.

Well, after sharing my newest little felt creations, I’ve had so many lovely messages asking whether the mice are available to buy — and especially whether I can personalise them. ❤️

So... I’m going to open orders for a very limited first batch of just 15 mice.

🐭 Personalised Mouse with hand-embroidered name — $29.95

Each little mouse is approximately 21cm long, plus the hanging loop, and is completely hand cut, hand stitched and finished individually by me.

Because they are handmade, each mouse will be unique and the colours of the mice and their baubles may vary from those pictured. I think that's part of what makes them rather special. 🥰

📦 Australia-wide shipping is available for a flat $12.95, or local collection can be arranged.

I’m deliberately starting with only 15 because I want to keep enjoying making these rather than turning my evenings into a mouse production factory! 😂 Once those are finished, I’ll see how I feel about opening another little batch.
