Thelma's Conservatory There is also a lot of patchwork fabrics on the bolt and precuts, as well as notions. Originally out of Orange, we have now moved into Orange township.

Thelma's Conservatory is the result of wanting somewhere to sit and create - sew, craft, scrapbook or anything creative, without having to leave the Orange area. There is plenty of space for the fabric, and a room for sewing and crafting, or just being creative. Due to COVID, we are a little restricted with space, so its a good idea to ring or text before coming to visit, just in case there are too many people here at once.

Some new fabrics which have come in just in the last week or so. Cath Kidston and Annabel Wrigley, 2 very different designers but both of which are so pretty - check out the little terrier dog in the first pic. Love love love. Not to mention the bright colours.

🐯 GO WILD WITH STRIPES!🐯

With so many fabulous new striped fabrics arriving at Thelma’s Conservatory, we had to create something bold, bright and a little bit wild!

Our Wild Stripe Log Cabin quilt concept combines straight stripes, wavy stripes, ric-rac stripes, painterly lines and tiny floral stripes. By turning the fabrics in different directions, the traditional log-cabin design suddenly becomes energetic, modern and full of movement.

The best part? There are no quiet corners in this quilt—every block brings another burst of colour and personality!

Spring is the time of year I look forward to the most - with warmer weather and the return of all the birds into the garden! We looked out some gorgeous bird fabrics this week and thought they would make beautiful handmade gifts.
