The latest memory quilt I've made was for my baby who turned 21 last week. A combination of applique, fabric painting and free hand stitching to create a record of memories.

It's been a while but I have been sewing.
This project was very personal, completed a few weeks ago, it is my breast cancer quilt. It is embellished with messages of support from family and friends to get me through the journey.

So the lovely Adrienne, who commissioned the baby quilt still had her wedding dress. It's been well loved and used as a dress up for her 4 daughter's but recently she brought it to me and we re-imagined it!
It's now become a beautiful Christening gown for her 1st grandchild Ellery....💗

100 days til Christmas & I've turned to these wonderful stockings I made. They would make beautiful gifts or can just be decoration for your house this Christmas.

I've made many special blankets or quilts over the years, often for a new baby to remember that special date, it's a wonderful gift.
But my latest quilt creation was very special as it was for my sons 21st.
I call it our memory quilt, it's a tribute to the memories we share. It was very personal but with a plain faux fur on the other side it could be on his bed and no one would know the special memories underneath.

Cooking in ISO is so much more fun with a pretty apron! These ones are kiddy sized but I've also made adult ones, maybe an idea for Dads who cook.
