The glaze line... been working on a new way to highlight the impressions from the pods. This is iron oxide in a slip, which is then scraped back. There is a clear glaze on half of this little cup and half is raw to see the difference. Will need to do some more experiments here, but I am so keen to do a bit more with this idea...

Then there were 2. 3 made it through trimming as you see on the video. The lid on the middle one was a little tight... and well... now there's 2!

Having said that, the thing I love about pottery is seeing my progress in a very concrete way. That gallery is the neatest I've ever made.

Little babies are drying up to leatherhard ready for trimming this afternoon. Fingers crossed for at least one of these to make it through!

Making some new shapes, took video just in case the trimming went bad. The trimming did ok... then I dropped the lid 😭 heart-breaking hobby i have chosen 😅
