Firstly, I need to thank two very special people who sent out my S.O.S. to their friends — Kat & Michelle. You both really came to my rescue! 🥹❤️
Secondly, to all my amazing customers who came to my rescue — thank you, thank you, thank you! 🥰
And to those who messaged me and I didn’t get a chance to reply… I’m sorry! Please forgive me. 🙏🏼 I wasn’t ignoring you — I was simply stuck in the kitchen trying to get everything ready! 😂👩🏻‍🍳
These were all the items I had prepared to sell at the event. Unfortunately, our stall had been cancelled, but Alhamdulillah, all items still found its way to the stomach.😁
A huge thank you to everyone who supported Taste of Vietnam, shared my SOS, placed an order, or simply helped spread the word.
Alhamdulillah for amazing customers and an even more amazing community. ❤️

I wish i was able to attend the event but after a stormy day in the kitchen, i needed to clean up.

Guess what? 😄

If you've been following Taste of Vietnam for a while, you'll know that we almost never set up a stall at events. We're usually too busy hiding in the kitchen! 🤭 But... we're coming to this event!
Alhamdulillah, we'll be at the Yasmin Mogahed event at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre from 6:30pm – 9:30pm, in shaa Allah.
I'm really looking forward to seeing all our amazing repeat customers and meeting lots of new ones.
Now, a little warning... I'm actually quite shy. 😅 If you've ever picked up an order from us, you probably already know! Just ask the husbands who drive their wives to collect their food. They usually stay in the car because they know the "quick pick-up" somehow turn into a long catch up. 😂

So if you see me at the stall, please come over and give your salaam. I promise I don't bite... unless you're a crispy bánh mì. 🥖🤣

Alhamdulillah (ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ)
All praise and gratitude belong to Allah ﷻ for inviting us to perform Hajj 1447H/2026.

It was truly an amazing journey. Yes, I have performed Umrah before, but Hajj is something else entirely. The experience, the emotions, the challenges, and the blessings are beyond words.

We are now back in Perth, and reality has hit hard! 😁🤭

The quietness of my home compared to the bustling atmosphere of Makkah and Madinah is a huge adjustment. No more rushing to get to salah early, trying to secure the best spot in the masjid, or racing against the barriers before they close. 😅 Otherwise, you might find yourself praying under the dedicated prayer area outside while the hot air blow in your face and up your nostrils 🤭

Now? It's just me and my bed.

Why the bed? Because I am completely sleep deprived! For almost 40 days, waking up at 3am was considered "sleeping in." Most nights we would only get to bed around 10:30pm or 11pm. So for now, my bed has become my best friend. 🤭

To all our loyal customers who have been eagerly waiting for our return — we are back! However, our official reopening date will be Wednesday, 1st July 2026.

As much as I am enjoying a little rest, I must admit that I miss the rush that all of you put me through. Every order, every message, every last-minute request — I genuinely enjoy being part of your special occasions and family gatherings.

Alhamdulillah, this year we are celebrating Eid away from our parents and children. We miss them dearly, but Alhamdulillah, Allah has blessed us with the opportunity to be here in Mina completing the 5th pillar of Islam and fulfilling part of our deen.
To everyone who has supported us, followed our journey, or simply passed by our page — Eid Mubarak. Whether you are celebrating with family, friends, or from afar, we pray that your day is filled with barakah, happiness, and peace.
One beautiful tradition during Eid is seeking forgiveness from one another. It is like pressing a reset button between family members and friends — letting go of hurt feelings and renewing relationships with sincerity and kindness.
So, we would like to take this opportunity to sincerely ask for your forgiveness for any shortcomings or mistakes we may have made, intentionally or unintentionally. If we have ever hurt you or left a mark on our friendship in any way, please forgive us for the sake of Allah.
