Ignite fireplace products started back in 2010 - except the business was under my installation and service name. I was a installer by trade, installing wood heaters for a living. Hearth options were slim. There were two options - black slate or multi coloured slate. Times were changing and heaters were becoming more modern, new homes were modern and slate was an old fashioned look. So I started br
ainstorming. After much trial and error, and showing samples to retailers we finally streamlined the options to two tiled fireplace hearths - Polished Charcoal and Matte Black. Both available in 5 different shapes or sizes. They became very popular, to the point where we just couldn’t keep up with demand. This was a great problem to have, but also an eye opener that this was no longer a sustainable way of running my business. After further research and sourcing samples from suppliers, we managed to appoint supplier that is able to provide us with quality granite hearths produced in mass - meaning we can keep up with supply and demand whilst providing customers with the best price possible. We have strictly chosen to sell our products to selected Family owned Heating Businesses around Australia, rather than dealing direct to the Public. I feel combining a quality product at a great price, matched with the service of individually selected Family Businesses provides the customer with a quality product and encourages people to support Small Local Business.
