🎄💕 SMALL GATHERING. BIG HEARTS. WONDERFUL IMPACT! 💕

What a fabulous day we had at our 🎄 Craft for a Cause | One Day Charity Craft Retreat on Saturday!

There was creativity, laughter, friendship, a little bit of mess (okay, maybe more than a little! 😂), and a whole lot of Christmas spirit.

But the best part?

🎉 TOGETHER WE RAISED $1,000 FOR THE DAILY BREAD HOUSE! 🎉

Through our Christmas raffle, Lucky Envelopes and event registrations, we raised $879. I was delighted to donate the proceeds from our Pop-Up Shop to bring our final fundraising total to an even $1,000!

Proof that you don't need a huge crowd to make a meaningful difference. Just generous hearts, a shared purpose and a willingness to give back. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, purchased raffle tickets, supported our fundraising efforts or donated one of our wonderful prizes. Your generosity helped make this possible.

Special thanks to:

💕 Kerryn and Jennifer, our wonderful Algester Parkinson Lions Club volunteers, for giving their time to help make the day run smoothly.

💕 Rhonda, our fabulous caterer, for keeping everyone well fed and happy.

💕 Greg Bell, President of the Lions Club Of Algester Parkinson, and Elisa from DAILY BREAD HOUSE Inc., who joined us at lunchtime to share some of the important work their organisations do in our community.

☕💕 Coffee, Cake & Cards – A Little Wednesday Sunshine!

What a lovely morning at Coffee, Cake & Cards today!

A huge thank you to Alison, Amber, Carol, Christine, Dawn, Fiona, Jan, Jenny B, Jenny S, Judy and Tracey for bringing a little sunshine to my cloudy Wednesday morning. ☀️💕

This month was all about thinking outside the Christmas box! 🎄 We took the adorable Joyful Friends Christmas stamp set and gave it a makeover, proving that Christmas stamps don't have to be just for Christmas!

We teamed it with the Banner Sayings stamp set and coordinating punch, September's Product of the Month — Luxe Foliage Specialty Designer Series Paper — and a couple of treasures from the Last Chance Products range: Seasonal Cheer Mini Embossing Folders and A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper.

We had some fun with watercolour pencils, using Clear Wink of Stella to blend our colours and add a little shimmer to our adorable wombats and kookaburras. A touch of Peaceful Pine Shimmer Brush and a rummage through my carefully curated embellishment collection (😂) finished things off beautifully.

And because we love a card that's both cute AND practical, we included a handy little gift card pocket. Perfect for slipping in a gift card or a little surprise!

Of course, everyone had permission to "go rogue" (within reason… although who am I kidding? 😂), so no two cards turned out quite the same!

Jenny B took the idea one step further and transformed hers into a baby card! 🍼💕 Now that's thinking outside the Christmas box!

It's one of my favourite things about crafting together — we can all start with the same supplies and inspiration, but end up with something wonderfully different.

Of course, the best part is always the laughter, chatter and friendships around the craft table. 💗

Thanks again, ladies, for another lovely morning. Looking forward to seeing you all again on Wednesday, 11 November! ☕✂️💕
