Wick-Zen is home to Melbourne’s first Candle Bar in Brunswick, where you can choose your scent, pick your stemware and pour your very own candle - with experiences designed for everything from solo bookings and date nights to birthdays, bridal celebrations, hens, kitchen teas and more.

And if you’d rather leave the candle-making to Simone, you can shop their Melbourne-made, hand-poured candles and fragrances in store, with natural ingredients, small-batch pours and scents designed for everyday rituals.

When people ask me why I created Melbourne’s first Candle Bar, the answer is actually pretty simple. I wasn’t interested in opening another candle-making workshop. I wanted to create an experience that felt distinctively Melbourne and Brunswick. A place where creativity, hospitality and great company co-exist. Part workshop, part gathering, part outing. But different. Experimental. Immersive. Fun.

There’s something so satisfying about waiting for a candle to set. Delish cake from was eaten, bubbly was sipped and for a little while everyone simply enjoyed the pause and chatted while watching Sydney Road roll by outside.
