🦷 No Wing It Wednesday Tonight 🦷

Yesterday I spent some time in the dentist's chair having a few fillings done, and unfortunately my mouth is still playing havoc today. 😣

Rather than trying to push through, I'm going to take the evening to rest and let everything settle down properly.

💡 Tuesday Tip at 10!

✨ Use vellum to soften busy Designer Series Paper!

Love a bold DSP but not sure how to stop it overpowering your card?
Try adding a layer of vellum over the top 🙌

Vellum helps:
✔️ Soften strong patterns
✔️ Tone down busy backgrounds
✔️ Make your focal image pop
✔️ Add a soft, elegant look without hiding the design completely

It’s one of my favourite tricks when I want to use patterned paper and keep the card feeling light and balanced 💕

Pro Tip: Hide your adhesive behind die cuts, sentiments, or embellishments so it disappears under the vellum 😉

It’s a little bit chaos, a little bit dust, and a whole lot of exciting change here at Bec’s House of Craft! 🛠️✨

The studio is currently a full-on construction zone as we work on renovations to create more space, better flow, and an even more welcoming creative space for everyone. Between moving furniture, rebuilding walls, and reorganising supplies, there’s currently no room for crafting… unless your craft is dodging ladders and timber 😅

Because of this, there will be no Breakfast with Bec tomorrow morning while we continue working behind the scenes.

I can’t wait to show you all the finished result, it’s going to make such a difference for classes, retreats, card buffets, and crafting together in the studio 💕

Thank you all for your patience and support while things are a little upside down around here. Bigger and better things are coming! 💖

But do not stress, the card buffet will still be on Sunday this week from 10am-3pm, I can not wait for you to see all the changes in the flesh…
