Tomorrow, Thursday 15th October, Cocoon is transforming into an artist’s studio! We are thrilled to host local Tasmanian artist Jodie Gaul for a live painting session in-store.

Known for her whimsical and expressive “cheeky flock” characters, (who will be cooking up a barbecue tomorrow!) JodieGaulArt~ Proudly Tasmanian will be working at her easel, bringing her woolly flock to life right here in the shop between 11am - 4pm.

Stop in to meet the artist, watch her creative process, discover the inspiration behind her newest work and enjoy the fun!

As designers here at Cocoon, we are *thrilled* to launch an exclusive new range of paper-mâché, made entirely in-store!

These pieces bridge the gap between history and sustainability, reimagining an ancient craft with modern, eco-friendly possibilities. By rescuing cardboard, paper, and plastic containers destined for landfills, we have transformed everyday waste into timeless, sculptural art.

The pieces in this Collection are reminiscent of ancient relics pulled from long-lost ruins. Some feature rich, earthy ochres and the green patina of aged metal, while others embrace a clean, natural palette echoing a coastal origin.

Each vessel is entirely one-of-a-kind, sculpted by hand with absolute devotion and purpose.

While our main entrance might look a little different right now, visiting us is still easy!

Just follow the directional signs around to the back of the building, which will guide you safely around to our temporary entrance.
