The Quiltastic India textile tour in October 7-21, 2019 will be a wonderful unique experience where you will learn some fabulous new techniques and immerse yourself in the glorious culture of the local people. "I enjoyed a wonderful trip through Gujarat with Shakti Holidays. Deepa was wonderful and her knowledge and research allowed me to have some unique experiences with textiles I never would have experienced otherwise. For example I spent an entire day sewing with the rabari women in a small village learning their embroidery techniques. What an amazing experience! I also had the opportunity to learn block printing from start to finish, as well as Rowan fabric painting.
