Singapore bound! 🇸🇬✈️❤️

I’m heading off to Singapore for our annual Thermomix incentive trip - something I was lucky enough to earn through my Thermomix business this year! 🥹

And I know I wouldn’t be going without the amazing support of my customers. Every person who has chosen me as their consultant, purchased through me, recommended me to a friend or simply supported what I do has played a part in getting me here. I’m incredibly grateful ❤️

When I became a Thermomix consultant, I never imagined some of the opportunities it would bring me - the people I’ve met, the friendships, the flexibility, the extra income and experiences like this. And all while doing something I genuinely enjoy - talking about food and Thermomix! 😂

So if you’ve ever wondered what being a consultant is actually like or thought maybe I could do that too, perhaps this is your little sign to ask me about it. No pressure, just a chat 😊

For now though, Singapore here we come! 🇸🇬🥂

I’ll be sharing plenty from the trip, so come along with me! ❤️

🥚 EGG BOILER MODE!

Did you know your Thermomix can cook your eggs perfectly exactly how you like them?

The eggs go straight into the mixing bowl (no simmering basket!) and the blades don’t turn, so the bowl essentially works like a saucepan 🙌🏼

The official instructions recommend 2–6 eggs, but I regularly cook up to 12 at a time! Just make sure you add enough water to completely cover the eggs.

Select Egg Boiler Mode, choose how you like them cooked and let your Thermomix do the rest! 🥚✨

No timer. No guessing. Perfect eggs!

This dodgy photo of my Clinker Rocky Road from 13 years ago is actually a pretty special little memory! 😂❤️

This memory popped up today and I thought it was the perfect excuse to share a little refresher for anyone who is new here 😊

Long before I became a Thermomix consultant, my thermo cooking journey actually started with a Bellini Intelli from Target for around $300.

I’d heard about Thermomix back then and remember thinking, there is NO WAY I’m spending nearly $2,000 on a kitchen appliance! 😂

But I absolutely LOVED my Bellini. I joined thermo cooking Facebook groups, used Thermomix recipes and started making so much from scratch - breads, yoghurt, butter, sauces, pesto, mayo, soups, nut milks, flours, smoothies, Christmas treats, I even made my own Baileys! 🥃🤭

And that’s when I realised something. This appliance was actually saving us money. I was buying fewer convenience foods and making so much more myself at home.

Fast forward a couple of years and Thermomix announced the new TM5. I hadn’t even seen one in real life, but this time I was ready! 😂 I knew how much I was already using this style of cooking and decided it was worth investing in the real thing.

Around that time I also created a little Facebook group called Aussie TM5 Thermomixer because I couldn’t find much information about the new TM5 in Australia or even in English.

That little group eventually became Aussie Thermomixers and today it has grown to more than 131,000 members! 🥹❤️ Something I built from the ground up and am incredibly proud of.

And the funny part? After all those years of loving Thermomix, sharing recipes and helping people online, I eventually became a Thermomix consultant myself.

If you’ve been thinking about a Thermomix and don’t have an active consultant, you’re always welcome to reach out. I’m more than happy to answer your questions, give you a breakdown of the TM7 and help you decide whether it’s right for you - no pressure. 🥰

Missing an ingredient, prefer a different protein or just don’t want to make another trip to the shops? Substituting ingredients is simple - let me give you an example 🥰

I made this Vietnamese lemongrass chicken the other night using the pork recipe on the Malaysia platform. I LOVE using the high temp or browning for Asian cooking!

Lemongrass chicken is one of my faves so I used this recipe and chose chicken instead!

If a recipe calls for pork, you can easily substitute chicken. Both proteins cook well at similar temperatures and can be seasoned and flavoured very similarly.

Don’t let a missing ingredient hold you back! With a little creativity, you can substitute almost anything in your recipes. Not only does this make cooking more enjoyable, but it also encourages you to experiment and discover new flavour combinations.

Here’s the cookidoo link to the recipe I used - Vietnamese Lemongrass Pork Strips https://cookidoo.com.au/recipes/recipe/en-AU/r656740

Let me know below what kitchen swaps you have made with delicious results! I would love to hear!

HIGH PROTEIN, LOW CARB SHEPHERDS PIE 🥦🧀

Comfort food made easy!

I made my mince filling, then topped it with my cauliflower & broccoli mash made in the Thermomix, fresh tomato slices and plenty of cheese 😋

Then straight into my Ninja Crispi Pro on ROAST for 10 minutes until everything was hot and that cheese was melted.

I’m really loving cooking in the glass Crispi containers, being able to actually SEE what’s happening while it cooks is such a simple thing, but I love it 😂 Plus you can prep, cook, serve AND store in the same glass container 🙌🏼

This was such an easy, filling dinner and a great lower carb twist on a classic shepherd’s pie.

Thermomix for the mash ➡️ Ninja Crispi Pro to finish it off. Dream team! 💚

Would you swap potato mash for cauliflower & broccoli mash?

MINCE DOESN’T HAVE TO BE BORING! 🙌🏼

Who says you can’t cook mince in your Thermomix? You can even make your own mince which means you know exactly what’s going into it 😉

Mince is definitely on repeat in our house. It’s versatile, family friendly, generally budget friendly and can be turned into SO many completely different meals.

Think meatballs, curries, stir fries, Thai salads, pasta and rice dishes, bakes - there’s so much more you can do with mince than the usual spag bol! 😋

And with the cost of groceries these days, I’m always looking for meals that are delicious without costing a fortune.

Over the years I’ve found HEAPS of great mince recipes, so I’ve put together a recipe list full of mince meal ideas for when you need a little dinner inspiration.

📌 UPDATE: If you commented and haven’t received it, Facebook may not allow my page to message you first. Please send my page a message saying MINCE and I’ll reply with the list.

And check your message requests too, just in case! 😊
