✨ Wrapping up Cuisine Hub Stories 2025!
This video has been sitting on my hard drive for six months. Between life with the little one and me feeling the recording wasn’t quite up to “standard”, I kept putting it off. But these convos were too good not to share — two guys full of drive, ambition, and real talk about business and life.
Meet Tam, owner of Surfing Lizard Café 🏄♂️☕️. He started as a chef, worked his way up, and eventually bought the café. Now he runs two Surfing Lizards down south (Coogee + Secret Harbour) — both rocking ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ on Google.
In his early 30s, Tam’s doing more than just coffee — he’s killing it in real estate too. He talked openly about money, running a business, and even mentioned having 50+ bank accounts (and private bank manager visits 😅).
He also shared how he creates bold, conversation-sparking posts for Surfing Lizard’s socials — and how his TikToks about finance have earned him some die-hard followers. Fame vs. privacy... you really can’t have both sometimes.
Before we wrapped, Tam told me to check out his brother-in-law’s coffee van —The Salty Dog Beach Café at CY O’Connor Park 🐾☕️. Big thanks to Johnny for jumping in last minute and being so open about his journey too.
