Sorry I’m going to miss valentines this year 😩 I’ve been debating when I think I can get back into it and I’ve decided to give it an extra week.
I’m currently prepping for a Colonoscopy- which might be TMI for some! … but it’s a great opportunity to spread a little awareness. Our family lost another life long friend to Colon Cancer recently. She was a hoot! A vibrant personality and always made me laugh 😊
So it encouraged me to schedule the procedure and not put it off another year. Colon cancer is one of the most preventable types of cancer and unfortunately once you start to show symptoms it’s often progressed too far and too late 😔
I get a colonoscopy about every 5 years and what concerns me the most, is in the 6/7 years since I’ve last had one, the prevalence of emulsifiers like 407/carrageenan have gone from just a few products to almost every dairy product in the supermarket. Emulsifiers strip the protective mucus lining of your bowels, increasing intestinal permeability (“leaky gut”) and potentially contribute to inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) and metabolic syndrome.
I myself suffer inflammation and bloating 3 days after consuming 407 / carrageenan. It took me years to pin down the culprit due to the delayed reaction
So! Long story short. Watch this space. I’ll have a limited number of $30 jar posies and $40 bouquets available.
