What many see is the finished product of a candle...not what goes on behind the scenes.
This image is the preparation of an order for a client and I am so excited to see it all come together for them ๐ฅฐ
So what happens behind the scenes you ask...
1. Prepare to melt wax
2. Wash jars to remove any dust so wicks will adhere well
3. Dry jars completely
4. Select correct wicks
5. Stick down wicks inside jars
6. Secure wicks prior to pouring
7. Check wax is fully melted
8. Add your favourite fragrance
9. Start pouring wax into jars
10. Candles now start to set in their own time
11. Prepare labels for candle and box
12. Once candles have set, trim wicks and place lids on if any
13. Box candles ready for collection and or delivery
14. Repeat the process
When you see it listed you may not think there is much to it, but in fact there is so much time, patience and accuracy when creating a candle.
So much love, passion and attention to detail goes into every SINGLE one and every SINGLE order. No two candles or orders are the same.
When I get asked โhow long will it takeโ depends on so many factors ..
1. Size of the container
2. How much wax it holds
3. The time it takes for the wax to set
4. Creating labels for your order
5. My time whilst juggling mum life and everything else in between
This just gives you a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes in creating your candle order regardless whether itโs for 1 or 100 candles - each process is repeated.
