It was a busy month since my last post creating 250+ gorgeous candles for a beautiful customer and I am so excited to see this come to light for them 😍

I just wanted to let you know that I will be taking a short break as it is school holidays. I will attend to your order requests and emails upon my return. For those that I have already been in touch with, I will contact you when I get back.

As we near the last half of the year (crazy I know), I will be working on some Christmas ideas so don’t worry I will have you covered for that! 🎄😂

It’s not been an easy year for many, so please remember that everyone is here doing the best they can (myself included)❤️

🕯️BEHIND THE SCENES 🕯️

What many see is the finished product of a candle...not what goes on behind the scenes.

This image is the preparation of an order for a client and I am so excited to see it all come together for them 🥰

So what happens behind the scenes you ask...

1. Prepare to melt wax
2. Wash jars to remove any dust so wicks will adhere well
3. Dry jars completely
4. Select correct wicks
5. Stick down wicks inside jars
6. Secure wicks prior to pouring
7. Check wax is fully melted
8. Add your favourite fragrance
9. Start pouring wax into jars
10. Candles now start to set in their own time
11. Prepare labels for candle and box
12. Once candles have set, trim wicks and place lids on if any
13. Box candles ready for collection and or delivery
14. Repeat the process

When you see it listed you may not think there is much to it, but in fact there is so much time, patience and accuracy when creating a candle.
So much love, passion and attention to detail goes into every SINGLE one and every SINGLE order. No two candles or orders are the same.

When I get asked “how long will it take” depends on so many factors ..

1. Size of the container
2. How much wax it holds
3. The time it takes for the wax to set
4. Creating labels for your order
5. My time whilst juggling mum life and everything else in between

This just gives you a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes in creating your candle order regardless whether it’s for 1 or 100 candles - each process is repeated.

🚨 IMPORTANT PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

A little update from Luxuria Candles....

After much consideration, I have decided at the end of the year from 20 Dec 2026 until 20 Dec 2027 that I’ll be taking 12 months break from pouring candles.

It’s come to me in the last few months that I need to make a decision whether I want to continue running my business or if I want to close completely; so I need to step away and take this time for myself to decide what it is I wish to do.
So between now and until the end of the year:
✅ YES I am still open
✅ YES you can still place orders
✅ YES I will able to fulfill your orders

What started as a creative hobby back in 2007 has grown into something I could never have imagined. So many of you have supported my business through birthdays, weddings, in memory candles, Christmas and life’s very special moments and for that I am forever and incredibly grateful ♥️🙏🏻

This isn’t goodbye, it’s just simply me needing to step back to review and reflect on what the future of Luxuria Candles looks like.

Hello..it has been a while since you’ve seen this face…to be honest the first half hasn’t been the best start to the year (too many curveballs) so I’m now going leave the past 6 months behind and move forward to TODAY (my birthday)… celebrating another year around this beautiful earth of ours!
48 and grateful 💕

So with that said, just a few things that I’m learning and still finding out along the way of which we call life…

1. Be kind (it costs nothing).
2. Happiness is from within.
3. Life will throw curveballs but it will not completely break you (it’ll try)!
4. You can’t control everything especially when you didn’t see it coming!
5. Learning to trust and back yourself more than ever!
6. Never stop being a good person, even if so many other bad things happen to you.
7. Value: character, respect, honesty, love, loyalty and true companionship as it’s rare to find!
8. Always stay true to who you are and your authenticity.

Celebrated the day with fun and then enjoyed a delicious home cooked meal which you can’t beat! 🥰
