It was so lovely to be at the Rossnowlagh Farmers Market on Friday. What a great atmosphere filled with loads of traditional creative demonstrations and not to mention all of the amazing vendors. I’ve been a little quieter on here lately, whoops! One day I’ll get my act together.. 🫣

The sunshine has been too lovely not to enjoy, so I’ve been taking a step back from making and creating as much as I normally would. The past few weeks have been filled with family, plenty of laughs, and some seriously good food while exploring Galway and Dublin with the kiddos and my sister who’s over from Australia. Plus, a very special gathering for my nephew and beautiful new wife in the Uk.. Moments like these in the sunshine are so precious.

Now I’m looking forward to getting back to my hooks, beautiful wool, and all the cosy things I love creating. Thank you for being here while I took a little break! 🥰

It was so lovely to see everyone at our recent Cinema Craft Night At Eclipse Cinemas in Bundoran.There was such a beautiful mix of creativity in the room – from crochet and knitting to embroidery, willow weaving, and even drop spindle spinning.

The film was a gorgeous Irish story, and it was extra special spotting familiar landscapes and local visuals on the big screen plus we also got a special message from one of the Co directors!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the night so warm, relaxed, and creative. We’d absolutely love to do it again soon. Big thanks to Collie and Daryna to help make this a magical night.

2025 has been a really lovely one.

One of the best parts has been the market and creative community- the chats and laughs, the familiar faces and the new friends which I’m so fortunate to have found a little tribe.

I’m so grateful for everyone who’s supported Ocean Weave Handmade this year — customers who choose slow fashion, and my couple of shops who stock my work and support small makers. It truly means the world.

The space was full of amazing artisans and beautifully made pieces, and I’m excited to be part of it again. If you’re around make sure you pop by, soak up the creativity, and say hello.
