💜🧶 WHAT A BEAUTIFUL GRANNY SQUARE DAY! 🧶💜

What a huge success our Granny Square Day Celebration at Lavender Estate was today! 🌿☀️

Perth turned on the most beautiful sunny winter’s day — absolutely perfect for sitting together, crocheting, chatting, making new friends and enjoying a delicious lavender-inspired Devonshire Tea. 🫖💜

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came along and put their amazing crochet talents to work creating the most beautiful granny squares in gorgeous shades of lavender. 🧶💜

And the best part… we already have more than 50 squares for our special charity project! 🥰

Each little square is now part of something much bigger — a wonderful collection of handmade pieces created with love, friendship and a whole lot of crochet.

I couldn’t be happier with how our Granny Square Day celebration came together. Thank you for making it such a special afternoon and for sharing the Crochet Escapes spirit of Socialise • Share • Learn • Inspire • Make Friends. 💜

Have you booked your place for our Granny Square Day Celebration at Lavender Estate? 🧶🌿☕

Join us for a relaxing afternoon of crochet, friendship and a delicious lavender-inspired Devonshire Tea in the beautiful surroundings of Lavender Estate.

Your ticket includes:

☕ A delicious lavender-inspired Devonshire Tea with a freshly baked scone, all the lashings, and your choice of tea or coffee.

💜 Beautiful lavender-toned yarn to crochet a granny square (or two!) for our special community project. The completed squares will be joined after the event and donated to a worthy cause.

🧶 An exclusive Lavender Inspired Granny Square pattern, specially designed for the event, plus an optional yarn kit available if you’d like to crochet your own keepsake square during the afternoon or continue making more at home.

⏰ Bookings close next Thursday so we can finalise catering and prepare everyone’s yarn kits.

and come celebrate Granny Square Day with Crochet Escapes at the beautiful Lavender Estate, 272 Old Yanchep Road, Carabooda.

Your afternoon will include:
🫖 A delicious lavender-inspired Devonshire Tea featuring a freshly baked scone with all the lashings, plus your choice of tea or coffee.
🧶 Gorgeous lavender-toned yarn provided for you to crochet a granny square (or two!).

What a fabulous day we had at Part 1 of our Tunisian Crochet Intermediate Course 🧶💙

Despite the wet & windy weather outside, there was plenty of learning, laughter and, of course… cake 🍰😊

Last weekend we tackled Tunisian Rows and Tunisian Crochet in the Round (Tubular) using the double-ended hook. So many new skills learnt and lots of “aha!” moments along the way.

Tomorrow it’s time for Part 2, where we’ll be diving into Tunisian in the Round Flat Squares & Hexagons. 🤩
Don’t forget to bring your thinking caps… we’re in for another fun-filled day of learning 🧶😊

✨ What a fabulous weekend! ✨

Our 2 Day Tunisian Crochet Beginners Course wrapped up on Saturday and wow… what a group! 💛

So much learning, plenty of laughs and I think it’s safe to say everyone is now well and truly hooked… possibly even fallen down the rabbit hole into the wonderful world of Tunisian Crochet! 🧶🐰

I just love seeing that spark when it all clicks ✨
