And I love this feedback from Jane:

⭐ “This was a great workshop and really tested me (in a good way). I'm looking forward to finishing mine off in the next few days. Thanks again for a lovely day.” Jane D. ⭐️

💜🧶 A VERY SPECIAL DELIVERY! 🧶💜

Today, I delivered 10 beautiful fidget lap blankets to Osborne Park Hospital! 🥰

These will be gifted to stroke patients to support their rehabilitation and hopefully add a little ray of sunshine to their day. 🌈💜

A HUGE thank you once again to everyone who joined us for this year’s Granny Square Day event and contributed your beautiful squares. 🧶

And to my wonderful blanket fairies, who helped bring everything together — joining, bordering and embellishing — I couldn’t have done it without you! 💕✨

My heart is full. 💜 What a beautiful community we have! 🥰🧶

💜🧶 A VERY SPECIAL COMMUNITY PROJECT UPDATE! 🧶💜
Thank you again to those who attended our Lavender Estate Devonshire Tea Granny Square Day event and for making your beautiful squares to contribute to this very special community project. 🧶💜

Apologies for the silence on this page! 🙈 We’ve been busy as bees in a lavender field making more squares, joining, bordering and embellishing our beautiful lavender fidget lap blankets! 🌿💜

I am SO proud to say that we will be donating NINE… yes, you heard right…9 beautiful lavender-inspired fidget lap blankets! 🥰💜

These will be delivered next week to Osborne Park Hospital Rehabilitation Centre, where they will be gifted to patients who have suffered a stroke.

As a two-stroke survivor myself, this donation means the world to me. 💜 I simply couldn’t have done this without your amazing support.

A HUGE special thank you to our wonderful blanket fairies at our Ellenbrook & Mindarie Crochet Clusters — Jane, Karen, Christine, Carol, Carmen, Sarah, Irene & Nikki — who helped rescue me from under the lavender haze! 😂💜 Your help has been incredible.

Here are some of the latest pics… How beautiful are they?!!! 😍💜

Missed this event? Don't worry… there will be more to come soon! 😉🧶💜

💜🧶 WHAT A BEAUTIFUL GRANNY SQUARE DAY! 🧶💜

What a huge success our Granny Square Day Celebration at Lavender Estate was today! 🌿☀️

Perth turned on the most beautiful sunny winter’s day — absolutely perfect for sitting together, crocheting, chatting, making new friends and enjoying a delicious lavender-inspired Devonshire Tea. 🫖💜

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came along and put their amazing crochet talents to work creating the most beautiful granny squares in gorgeous shades of lavender. 🧶💜

And the best part… we already have more than 50 squares for our special charity project! 🥰

Each little square is now part of something much bigger — a wonderful collection of handmade pieces created with love, friendship and a whole lot of crochet.

I couldn’t be happier with how our Granny Square Day celebration came together. Thank you for making it such a special afternoon and for sharing the Crochet Escapes spirit of Socialise • Share • Learn • Inspire • Make Friends. 💜

Here are just a few photos from our gorgeous afternoon… 📸
I hope you enjoy looking back on the day as much as I have! 🧶🌿☕

Happy Granny Square Day 2026! 💜
