I whipped this little lambie up recently as a gift for a friend's baby. It turned out really cute, but I swear this was the first and last time I ever work with fluffy yarn! I couldn't see any of my stitches, so I had to just work by feel... sometimes this was fine, and other times, I'd have to frog it back to the start of the round because my stitch count was out! We got there in the end! Pattern was from Zoomigurumi2.

It's been a long time since my last post. Life got busy, and I had no time to crochet. I started this project maybe 2 years ago, or was it 3 😅? It was a gift for my cousin's baby boy. I followed a pattern for the hexagons but decided to personalise it with my own shapes/appliques. This took a bit of trial and error, and I had periods where I was overwhelmed with indecision on what to do with it next. They live in farming region, love AFL (Adelaide Crows), and I just figured animals and space were a safe bet. I'm really happy with how it turned out. I hope little Louis loves it 💓

My first blanket! The colour combination is a little weird, but it was just a blanket for me/my family and my main goal was to use up my acrylic yarn so it doesn't bother me. I was able to reduce my stash from 2 tubs to 1 🙌

This took me roughly 2 months to complete. But during that time I had 2 weeks of NO crochet 😱 when my family took a trip to Shark Bay and sadly there was no room in the car for my project. Plus we super busy school holidays where not much crochet happened either. So realistically it maybe took a bit over a month to complete.

Due to the time it takes to make a blanket, I won't be taking orders for them, sorry!

Pattern is 6 Day Kid Blanket by
Squared off and completed with 5 rows camel stitch + bobbles for a border.
