Mr and Mrs Verity & Sean 💜

Verity’s vision was a romantic garden-style aesthetic in rich and soft purple tones, with seasonal florals and with roses omitted from the design.

I found it a little overwhelming as I use roses in designs, in some shape or form. To make sure I gave Verity & Sean their vision, I started doing some research looking at design’s and floral forms. I was inspired!

This is what I created and this was Verity’s response the next day…

Reveal: The Sun & The Bloom

Subi Blooms x Gather - Flora Aurora

This installation explores the way sunlight awakens bloom — carrying petals to life while casting a shadow that reveals a deeper, hidden beauty. As the sun rises, the work becomes a reflection of renewal, growth, and transformation, illustrating how light not only illuminates the bloom, but gives meaning to the shadows it leaves behind.
The reflective floor symbolises the earth catching the first light of dawn — mirroring bloom, sky, and shadow together as one fleeting moment of illumination.

The Sun & The Bloom

Subi Blooms x Gather - Flora Aurora

This installation explores the way sunlight awakens bloom — carrying petals to life while casting a shadow that reveals a deeper, hidden beauty. As the sun rises, the work becomes a reflection of renewal, growth, and transformation, illustrating how light not only illuminates the bloom, but gives meaning to the shadows it leaves behind.

This weekend for Mother’s Day. Go take a look at all the magical installations florist have been preparing for months.
Take a wonder day and night. At night these installations come to life.

I rarely say I’m proud of myself, but yesterday after we had finished, and even while we were working, we had so many people stopping by taking a look and commenting on how beautiful it was. One person gave me goosebumps when they said thank you for doing this for the mums and public… at that moment I stood there looked at the installation and said to myself “I am Proud!” Proud of how far I have come and how I made the streets of Subiaco after manifesting for a year to gain a spot as it meant alot to me. And most of all for all the smiles and joy it brings to people!

Kate ✨

Kate booked me in July 2024, we waited for this moment for so long! Kate’s vibe was European style with hints of blue and yellow.

Kate loved a spring vibe bouquet with cascading sections and an orchid.

When choosing Kate’s flowers, had to take in consideration what looked appropriate for the European styling.
Recipe: Candlelight roses, jasmine, Playa Blanca roses, pale blue delpheniums & lakspur, snapdragons, stock and lissianthus.

Pictured is last year’s Subi Blooms - Roots to Bloom.
I created a meadow for the beautiful ladies at . A spring meadow which mirrors the journey from roots to bloom by symbolising growth, renewal and transformation. A flowers life cycle develops from their roots, absorbing water and nutrients essential for growth.
Last photo shows BTS, everything was sustainable. Using chicken wire, coconut fibres, wool, reusable bowls with artificial moss.

Terms & Conditions:
• Workshop date to be mutually agreed upon by the winner and Lilliflora.

Subi Blooms is only 3 weeks away and last night we were honoured to be at the VIP event for “The Light Within” by

Head over to Market Square in Subiaco to this gorgeous display. From 17th April until 10th May.

This years theme is Flora Aurora. Where petals meet light and magic blooms.
