A special handover today for one of our favourite humans Brenda. Our book keeper, our backbone and our repeat client building her second home with us in Byford.

One Last Photo. One New Beginning.

Some buildings are just bricks and mortar.

This one became the foundation of who we are.

Tonight we took our final team photo outside 902 Albany Highway, East Victoria Park—the place where DBD truly found its identity. It was within these walls that ideas turned into reality, lifelong friendships were formed, impossible deadlines were somehow achieved, and hundreds of incredible projects came to life.

Every late night, every challenge, every laugh, every client handover, every milestone... this building has been there through it all.

To every client, supplier, subcontractor and team member who has walked through these doors—thank you. You have all played a part in shaping the business we've become.

But growth means embracing change.

Today marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of an even bigger one.

We are proud to announce that DBD is officially relocating to 18 Rio Street, Bayswater, where our Design, Build and Manufacturing teams will come together under one roof. Bringing everything into a single integrated headquarters allows us to collaborate better, build smarter, manufacture faster, and continue raising the standard of what we deliver.

We'll always look back on 902 Albany Highway with gratitude. It wasn't just an office—it was home.

Now it's time to build the next chapter.

Here's to bigger projects, bigger dreams, bigger opportunities... and an even stronger team.

Sometimes it's not about the journey of building.

Our purpose is the person. Our why is to bend backwards for a beautiful soul who trusted us blindfoldedly and all she ever wanted was to create a home for her beautiful kids. A home they can Cherish forever and ever. This person is no other than our lovely client Priti.

No matter how big or small. No matter how many bedrooms or bathrooms or finishes. It comes down to what one can afford and what we are prepared to do to help her along the way. Life is about giving and supporting one another and leaving a legacy behind.

At DBD, at our core, we strive to be the best at what we do with our hearts on our sleeve. We must go above and beyond for our clients. We must do everything in our power to make things happen even when there is no resources left on the table to purchase it or do it. Because when everything else fades away and years go by, our clients will remember us for how we made them feel and the friendship/fun and lols we had along the way. We have learnt the art of giving, generously and bringing smiles to the table even when it seems nearly impossible to do so.

Perth warehouse renovation. This is where it starts.

Most people would never take a project on like this. We saw something different.

This is Rio Street. DBD’s new home. A neglected warehouse in Perth that we are transforming into our new headquarters from the ground up.

Week 1 and we already have our first problem. Massive water leaks across the entire roof. Schedule on hold. Roof heating coming out. Two weeks to fix it before we can get back on track.
