🌈🐟 A little rainbow trout in coloured biro pen!

I’ve been working away on this rainbow trout drawing and thought I’d share a little peek at how it’s coming along! 🎨 Did you know rainbow trout get their name from the beautiful pinkish-red stripe that runs along their sides? ✨

Alongside drawing, I’ve also been busy getting everything ready for markets this weekend in Fremantle and Applecross! 🛍️💙 I can’t wait to bring my ocean-inspired artwork, prints and stickers along for you all to see.

If you’re local, come say hello, have a browse and support a small Australian artist! 🐚🌊

Four years ago, I picked up a biro pen and decided to draw a crayfish🦞✍️I posted my drawing on Instagram, not really knowing where it would lead. To my surprise, people started asking if they could buy prints of it before I’d even finished! 🥹So, I kept drawing. One design turned into another, and slowly, what started as a little creative experiment grew into Biro by Brooke🤍

Four years later, I’m still creating, sharing my love for the ocean through coloured biro pen, and getting to see my artwork find its way into people’s homes. It’s crazy to think that picking up one pen and drawing one crayfish would lead me here🦞🌊

A little reminder that sometimes the best things start without a plan. Just a pen, an idea, and a willingness to give it a go. 💙

Thank you to everyone who has supported my little business along the way. I wouldn’t be here without you! 🫶🏼

💙 Blue 💚 Green 💛 Yellow 🧡 Orange ❤️ Red 🩷 Pink 💜 Purple 🤎 Brown

One of my favourite things about doing markets and receiving online orders is seeing which combinations of artworks you choose! 🥹💙 I love seeing how you mix and match different colours, sea creatures and designs, and style them in your own unique formations. No two collections are the same, and I love seeing my art find its way into your homes in so many different ways! 🌊🐚

Thank you for supporting my little art business and giving my colourful ocean-inspired creations a home. 🫶🏼✨
