2022 1 oz Niue Czech Lion Gold Coin (BU)

The Czech Mint introduced its first bullion coin series in 2017 with the release of the Silver bullion Czech Lion. This series quickly gained popularity with its patriotic relief and limited mintages. The design on the reverse of the coin has been reworked several times, but always highlights the two-tailed Czech Lion, which is featured in the coat of arms of the Czech Republic. Also included in the design are other symbols of Czech statehood, the crown of Saint Wenceslas, a linden branch and an eagle on a shield. The Czech Mint is licensed by the island of Niue.

The First Polymer $10 note was made in Australia in 1988. There's always a lot of discussion about the value of these, mainly people seeing the scarcer first and last prefix note prices and them thinking they have one when in fact they have a common version. Here is the lowdown on the types.

The general blue folder will have the note overprinted with a date. These folders AA01-AA22 are common. If by chance you have serials AA00 or AA23 then those notes are worth more if uncirculated.

The first series without the date had a problem with the varnish over the OVD. Those banknotes in uncirculated condition need to have the 3rd and 4th numbers in the serial being 93,94 or 96 only. The best serials are AB10 which is the first prefix and AB33 which is the last prefix.

The second series has no overprint either. The best serials are AB10 which is the first prefix and AB57 which is the very scarce last prefix. The Renniks R32 catalogue values the AB10 at $550 and the AB57 at $2150 in uncirculated condition.
