SCREEN SAVER / When the show’s over, art takes over.

Our in-house interior designer created custom cabinetry that tucks the TV away when it’s not in use. Timber doors slide across to hide the screen, leaving black metal shelving to display our clients’ collection of ceramics.

The classic proportions are taking shape and the slimline bricks are showing their detail.

With the basement and ground level done, the scaffolding is going up for the upper floor.

Private from the street. Open to the Swan River at the rear.

Next, we start to see it rise. We'll keep sharing as it comes together.

Is this WA's best kitchen? Our South Perth project, designed and built for our own in-house interior designer , is a finalist in the .appliances Kitchen Design Awards.

Inspired by the refinement of a Parisian apartment, it is built around Breccia dei Medici marble and curved Shaker cabinetry. A sunlit breakfast nook overlooks the pool, with a table designed by Katie's brother, furniture maker

This home was never about shutting out the world. It was about choosing when and how to engage with it.

As our in-house Architect, explains:

"The owners didn’t want to be shut off from their community. They wanted to sit on the front porch, or in the dining room, and greet neighbours on the way to and from the beach, before retreating to the quiet seclusion of the north-facing courtyard at the rear.”

Interior designers never really switch off.

On holiday in Italy, our designer spotted traditional slimline bricks she couldn't forget. When it came time to build her own home, she found a modern take on them, made in Spain and sourced locally.

Now they define her South Perth home that is as much a reflection of her eye as it is of her travels.

Seventies warmth. Designed for now.

Currently under construction in Daglish, the home sits opposite parkland and is centred around an internal courtyard.

Slimline brick. Timber. And the clean lines of a double-gable roof give a sophisticated 70s vibe. The courtyard will bring light and landscape into the heart of the plan.

We're still early in the build, but the material palette is already revealing its character.

Texture. Warmth. A view in every direction.

Upstairs, the ocean does the work. Downstairs, every space was planned around a garden outlook, with windows placed to frame a specific tree, courtyard or planted edge.

Nine months after handover, that planting is filling in right where the views land, and the home feels framed by its garden.
