What is the difference between Vintage Paint and Chalk Paint?

Traditional chalk paint is called 'distemper' paint. It is chalky, breatheable, textural and is used on interior walls and furniture. It is not washable, even when dry. To be functional on furniture, chalk paint must be sealed with wax or varnish before use. Vintage Paint is a complex acrylic based paint that does not rely on a protective coat for durability, nor can it be washed off once dry.

So after a small break (called summer!)... I am slowly picking up paint brushes and will be getting workshops and painting some gorgeous furniture... not long now and I will be posting photos and information... Wine Racks, tables, Buffets and other interesting items...

OK, so playtime is here and so is spring... how beautiful is it .. we are all so blessed to live in this country! ###

I will be posting some dates for painting workshops, Shell Mirror workshops and pallet workshops - there will be some mixed, and I will also be posting dates for the December holidays - please pm me as the places go very quickly.

SATURDAY was an amazing day... furniture workshop in the morning with the most amazing Phil and girls... the pieces they produced were fantastic and friendships made... great day.... another workshop in 3 weeks watch this space... within minutes of finishing our workshop I was informed we were the owner of a rescue Dalmatian 12 months old... so very exciting after loosing our beautiful Dudley x She IS NOT a replacement but we have another duty to make her life whole ### AMARA (Ithink) ... she's skinny and no house manners but with love and kindness....Thank you Sarah, Phil, Liz, Margot, Angela,Di...for bringing so much inspiration and love ...

A little delayed in what was an AWESOME DAY .... we got a RESCUE doggie..... SO Saturday we had another workshop x it was amazing x beautiful pieces were produced and friendships made xx a big thank you to Quinns Shack for supplying the food and gorgeous coffee xx.... Lovely ladies and PHIL only guy did us proud... pieces produced were the best... so proud ### next workshop coming very soon ... watch this space x
