From a busy weekend to relaxing with Netflix and a few pens to doodle. I haven’t gotten out and sorted my studio desks yet (still unpacking haha) when I do I will complete the girl I started on the Bendigo Bank Avon Valley Arts Trail and share. My fave group Gosnells Writers Circle did a little write up about the trail too

Wow! What a fabulous weekend of sharing my passion for colour, art, journaling and creativity.
A huge thank you to everyone that visited me at my pop-up on the Bendigo Bank Avon Valley Arts Trail - I was honoured and humbled to be part of such a fabulous event. A huge thank you to Nicki for the use of her beautiful venue. ♥️ There was so much creative talent on the trail. I made so many lovely heart connections and had many conversations about art, colour, inspiration, workshops and more! A totally successful event, for which I’m blessed to have shared with organisers, family, friends and visitors. Thank you everyone involved and my family for all their help, support & a comfy bed to rest my old bones 😜🙏 💜

A fabulous first day at the Bendigo Bank Avon Valley Arts Trail today. 😁 I had lots of very lovely visitors and it was a fun day chatting and sharing my love of colour and arty goods. ♥️ A special sale of one of my all time fave pieces made the day even more special. Thanks to Rebecca Lennox and Craig for all the help in not only organising this event, but the setup etc. A big thanks also to Paige and Amy 😍♥️
What better way to spend a chilly day, than sharing and making art. 😊😊

A few masterboard collages that I shared on insta and didn’t realise they hadn’t shared here too 🙂 There’s something magical for me about working with lots of pieces of paper, scraps, ephemera to create a new whole collage piece. A piece that can then be made into other new works. They then can become so much more 🙂
This is going to become my regular practice of joy!

I promised to make a journal page using my new collage sheets. This page was created using “She Hears” https://lorrilennox.com/product-category/digital-downloads/
I used “Paper Stickers MT-art-S03” because the quote is perfect! I purchased the stickers from 10Cats Paint I used was and I used the ART BY MARLENE perfect journal to create in.
I love the style and creating my
Collage sheets was easier than hand carving the lino 😉😁 (I do love a little Lino caving though!)
Wouldn’t some of these make awesome stamps? I think so 😍
