Canal views without the compromise.

This canal-front home in South Yunderup is west-facing, so the afternoon sun, wind and rain made the alfresco difficult to enjoy for much of the year.

We installed 7 remote-operated Ziptrak® blinds, giving the homeowners complete control. The blinds can all be operated together from a single remote or individually, depending on the conditions.

Now they can enjoy the beautiful outlook in comfort, while also reducing the heat entering the home and eliminating the glare on the TV when it’s time to sit back and watch the game.

Making every bit of space count.

For this Piara Waters alfresco, we installed 3 manual Ziptrak® blinds to fully enclose the area. With a smaller space to work with, we positioned the blinds as far out as possible to maximise the usable area inside.

Now they can open up the bifold doors and connect the alfresco with the house, creating one larger living space while keeping the weather, flies and insects out.

Another outdoor area transformed, this time in Yanchep.

This west-facing patio was exposed to everything a Perth afternoon can throw at it — strong sea breezes, harsh afternoon sun and driving rain through the cooler months.

We installed three manually operated Ziptrak® blinds (two large spans and one smaller entry blind) to create a space that can be enjoyed in comfort throughout the year, while still maintaining the open feel when the blinds are retracted.

Privacy, comfort and a clean finish.

We installed 3 manual Ziptrak blinds along with a fixed panel in matching mesh to give these homeowners back their privacy after a new home was built next door overlooking their patio and into the house.

Being east-facing, the blinds also provide excellent protection from the harsh morning sun while still allowing them to enjoy their outdoor area.

The fixed panel wasn’t just for privacy—it was also the best design solution. Extending the first blind all the way to the house would have meant sacrificing headroom and the clean overall look. By using a fixed panel instead, we kept all three pelmets perfectly aligned in one straight line, maintained the extra headroom, and achieved a much neater finish.

Sometimes the smallest design decisions make the biggest difference to the finished result.

Coastal conditions sorted.

We installed 1 fixed panel and 3 manual Ziptrak blinds along the south and west sides of this patio in Secret Harbour — right where the wind and afternoon sun hit the hardest.

Now the space is protected from the strong coastal breeze, while also cutting down the glare and heat from the sun.

A much more comfortable spot to sit back and enjoy the afternoons, without battling the elements.

Making this alfresco work the way it should.

We installed 4 manual Ziptrak blinds to close off the area and make it more comfortable year-round. This job also required some custom flashings to cover larger gaps above the blinds — you can see the difference in the before and after.

Now they can open up the house and use the indoor and outdoor areas as one, without having to worry about insects getting in.

A clean finish that not only looks the part, but works exactly as it should.

This outdoor area has been made usable again!

The main issue here was the harsh afternoon sun hitting the patio and back of the house. The heat and glare made it uncomfortable to sit out there and enjoy the space.

Now, with the blinds installed, they can drop them down in the afternoon, stay cool and comfortable, and still look out over the pool area.

A simple solution that makes a big difference to how the space is used.
