Stopping myself eating take aways and eating out didn't happen because I bought a thermomix®️ and its certainly not been through forming better habits because if you know anything about the neurospicy brain, you would know it doesn't form habits. The 30 day thing does not work for us.

Ordering take out wasn't laziness, as mum of 4 with a neurospicy brain and a chronic illness I could say I didn't always have enough spoons to cook. Do you know about the spoons analogy?

Sometimes it was that, but sometimes I couldn't eat the food I cooked, or reheat a meal because if I saw it, I would feel sick and not want to eat it.

So what has changed, well firstly I didn’t want to spend the money on eating out, then the few times we have had meal out or takeaway I've been disappointed and now, well now I can't give in to the desire to order a takeaway because now I am in competition with myself, 6 weeks without a takeaway, and me and my bestie spent the whole day together without a doordash, so I think I've cracked the code???

Do you prefer to order take away or are you a super duper meal planner?

Tell me in the comments, I would love to know!

And share any amazing meals you've had lately!

Talking about the rage helped... it might be burn out, maybe hormones, maybe lack of sleep, maybe all of it.

The days are getting better, the hard moments are hard.

What is neurodivergence? What is bad behaviour? What boundaries do you hold? Which battles do you let go?

Homemade sausage rolls before going to Mandurah to pick up my man and have some family time.

No idea the day of the week but working through this crazy time of our life 🤪💓

Anyone with neurodiverse kids that have moved house got any tips for getting through this phase?

Rage!

Mum rage, women's rage, postpartum, peri-menopause, PMDD... who knows but recently I have felt rage in a way I haven't for a long time.

My jaw has been clenched so tight, it hurts in my head and it's weird, because overall everything is great, the kids and I have been loving this pace of life, getting out in nature and exploring far more than ever before.

Walks, bike rides, nature school, you name it we've been doing it, but also slow days in our PJs.

But suddenly the kids not listening or them arguing, I have to take myself to another room, scream in to a pillow, big reactions out of no where. Then tears.

Someone said to me today you might be a bit, down but I'm not. Like there is a lot in my brain, its very full.

Then I look at other women, other mums and think there is no way they get mad at their kids like this, I am doing it so wrong.

Is it talked about or is it something we joke about? Like I need a glass of w**e to survive motherhood, kinda joke, I don't drink btw but is that what others mean?

I love my kids and love spending time with them, I just don't want to pick up toys anymore!

Do you know what I mean?

6 months ago, hell 3 months on a day like today I would have bailed on cooking dinner and headed to the Golden arches, not because I always enjoyed it but because I could count on it to do the job and be the same everytime.

Over the last 3 months though I have been working on cooking dinner at home everyday! Don't get me wrong. I'm not perfect.

But now I have a few dinners on repeat, so when we are at a playground at 3.30pm and I am parenting alone I have a rough idea of what we are having for dinner and I actually have all the ingredients!

All 3 of the big kids helped me make this too!

2 and a half weeks ago we pack up our house and sent it down to Bunbury, my wonderful team leader friend who is renting us her house for a few weeks received our belongings, while we cleaned our house up in Perth and said our goodbyes.

A few days later we headed down to Bunbury, collecting our furniture and moving in to our temporary rental while we await getting our keys to our new house. (Still waiting bow)

We are living out of boxes 📦 and desperately avoiding un packing anything that is not necessary!

Of course I have unpacked my TM7 and am actually cooking us dinners, today was red Thai curry, a little spicy but Clementine actually ate it!!!

On Friday I will be at Spiritual and wellness event in East Bunbury along with my TL friend! My first actual event since being a TL and our move!

Come say hi!

Life is totally crazy over here, some kinda cold overtook me and Delilah this week whilst in the middle of packing up our house to move next week and scrambling to find accommodation.

Side note massive thank you to my Thermomix®️ community to helping 🙏 ❤️ you know who are!

But I just decided to have a little look at my numbers, this month with grand prix I had a massive target but truthfully life has been a lot. So I didn't set a target.

Soooooo in the 2 years I have been with Thermomix®️ I have supported 49 people get a Thermomix®️ on their bench, 49!!!

I am super proud of myself and would be so happy to finish this month supporting my 50th person get a Thermomix®️ on their bench!!

Is this you? Is it someone you know? How can I help?
