🚿 Last bathroom completed!
This one certainly had a bit of a journey behind it. The previous tiler had walked away from the job, so after assessing everything, we had a few things rectified and then got stuck into bringing it all together.
When we arrived, there was literally sand where the bathroom floor was supposed to be 😂 So, first job was to concrete the floor and give ourselves something solid to work with.
From there we:
🔨 Squared up the walls
🛁 The bath was installed by the client’s plumber
🧱 Bricked up around the bath
📐 Screeded the floor
💧 Waterproofed
⬜ Tiled
🧽 Grouted
🔧 Installed the fixtures
the fun part… drilling into the walls. 😳
Normally, it’s the porcelain that gives you grief when drilling but these walls were quite possibly the hardest walls I’ve ever had to drill into! Every hole was an adventure. 😂
But after plenty of patience, a few choice words and a bit of perseverance, it’s all finally come together.
From a floor full of sand to a finished, waterproofed and tiled bathroom, it’s now a neat little bathroom and another job ticked off the list. 👌
Another one brought back from the brink. 💪
