Learn to Needle Felt!

Join us for our relaxed Homeschool Needle Felting Classes at Victoria Park Community Centre.

🧶 Thursdays | 10:00am–11:30am
📍 Victoria Park Community Centre

Each session is a chance to slow down, get creative and learn the basics of needle felting in a welcoming, supportive environment. We’ll explore how to shape, sculpt and build with wool, creating a different little project each session.

Needle Felted Tote bags!

This week for Homeschool needle felting class we planned, created and felted the most beautiful tote bags! Ready for the library or even the farmers market 🛍️

Each one with a unique designs they each have so much personality 🎨

Make a felted fairy house with me 🧚🏼‍♀️

A little glimpse into the making process to create a little mushroom fairy house! Felting is magic ✨✨✨ and when you combine wetfelting and needle felting you can create the most magical play invitations.

However don’t be fooled by my editing and snipping, this process took 5 hours of active making and 2 days to dry fully. Felting with natural fibres is a slow process but it’s always so rewarding 🪡

Materials 🧶
🐑 Corriedale sheep’s wool measured by the heart, but roughly 40g each for the base and roof. And an extra little bit for the details, roughly 15g.

🧵 Embroidery thread and a needle for the door

🫧Dr Bronners Castile soap

🫙some jars to help hold your Wet-felted structure, bubble wrap and a dish to felt in.

🪡 size 40 guard felting needles and a foam block.

Looking for a creative, hands-on activity for your Wednesday mornings?

Families are welcome, and parents are invited to stay and join in or simply relax while your child creates 💛

In these sessions, students will:
🧵 Learn the basics of needle felting in a safe, supported environment
🐑 Work with natural Australian & New Zealand wool
🧑‍🎨 Create their own unique felted projects

Suitable for ages 7+ (adjustments available)
