SOLD
First one we have had at Blue Moon Collectables and Antiques in Pinjarra in 9 1/2 years, rarer find. Now available is a vintage (1970's) Fenton (back stamped) 3 piece hobnail milk glass fairy lamp with original glass bowl insert. This won't last.

Before you throw out Nana's unwanted odds & ends think of a way you can re-purpose them. Candle holders, soap dishes, under pot plants. Use flower frogs in unwanted dishes & turn them into flower float bowls. Make your own fairy lights.
Of course donating them to your local op-shop is better than throwing them out; donate them for someone else to ♻️ into something fabulous.

We had another good week at Blue Moon Collectables and Antiques in Pinjarra.
Robert was busy adding shelves out back for more storage.
He finished refurbishing an antique oak hall stand. We have replacement umbrella drip stands being manufactured. A lovely decorative carved Asian hall stand/wash stand is available that functions well as a cane stand.
More art glass, butter dishes, honey pots (both in high demand) are out. Lots of boxes, brass & silver jewellery available.
We are open 7 days a week 10-5.
Enjoy the browse

Lots have been happening in the background at Blue Moon Collectables and Antiques in Pinjarra as we acquire/catalogue/clean, repair, restore & curate stock for availability.
The costume brooches have been restocked & more vintage compacts are available; a few silver rings, pendants & brooches have come in too.
We have acquired another hall stand for displaying the hats, shoes & handbags.
The front counter has had a shuffle to make way for more vintage cuff links; many still in original boxes. Several vintage pocket lighters, lots in original boxes, all in working order are now available.
Robert has been busy restoring a few wooden items including a 1930-40's 2 tier oak occasional table. It would be great as a lamp table with room for a stack of vintage books underneath, a photo frame on top or your favourite house plant.
A gorgeous Victorian rosewood travel box took a bit of work. Original use was for storing writing & equipment, diary & other personal effects [it's not writing table).
I'm addicted to lamps & we just had to acquire this stunning Art Deco barley twist floor lamp. It was tired looking but Robert has restored the thirsty wood just enough that it maintains its graceful age. Made from a mix of oak & sheoak, it is all about the Deco style. Sits solid on the floor on a tiered base on feet with sweeping columns around the base.
The Wembley Ware Society are calling in on Saturday 19th September & we are expecting a group of about 20 people.
The Wembley cabinet has been stocked including a large Dhu Fish platter in great condition & a small private collection is available displayed on the Welsh dresser (cash only on these pieces).
We are open 7 days a week 10-5.
Happy browsing.

A busy day as usual getting more stock out at Blue Moon Collectables and Antiques in Pinjarra.
We have topped up the glass miniature animal cabinets (still 2 boxes to sort).
A 1930-40's red fox mantle with head, legs with paws & nails & full fluffy tail is now available. One more for the taxidermy enthusiasts than the fashionista.
A light brown/beige mink collar wrap in fabulous condition is waiting for adornment on that special coat you have been waiting to jazz up.
We get lots of requests for the elusive longer length neck chains, they seem harder to source. We have a nice selection of silver ones that has just gone out, 55- 80cm long.
Several are bespoke/hand made mid century designs, so once they are gone they are gone. Including anchor link, wheat strand, double herringbone link, chunky Figaro link, single & double belcher/rolo links, twisted strand serpentine link etc. There are several standard 45-50cm length chains also available, starting from $40.
Bring in your pendant so you know the chain fits through the bale or pair your selection up with one of the several silver pendants we have available.
Of special mention is a 1950-60's 71cm Mexican Silver Etruscan/maille Roman loop chain & a 1940-50's 76cm Euro 800 silver concentric interlinked chain. Both stunning.
The show stopper is a bespoke 112cm long multi concept necklace incorporating both belcher & barleycorn chain with delicately faceted translucent light brown smokey quartz beads on wire with silver orb spacers. A large Celtic cross is suspended from chunky cables. There are 3 silver skulls interspersed within the design & a bone carved skull suspended from a cabochon claw caged amethyst. Its an imaginative, innovative & eye catching piece.
The costume jewellery continues to sell well & the brooches are very popular. I've topped up the displays.
Gold jewellery is still available but kept secured off site. We have a catalogue of available stock you can choose from then a closer inspection can be arranged by appointment.
Enjoy the browse.
