Blue Moon Collectables & Antiques is located at 1/5742 South West Highway Pinjarra WA. We are a bricks and mortar business, open 7 days a week 10-5; available on 9524 6612 during business hours.
We don't have an on-line store, old fashioned browsing is what it`s about so drop in for a look and a chat.
Individual questions won't be answered from the page so please call during hours for pricing and availability. Staff will be able to assist you.

EXPRESSIONS of interest.

Looking for a keen photography student or a polished amateur who would like the experience of being involved in a vintage fashion shoot in store at Blue Moon Collectables and Antiques in Pinjarra.
I met a lovely young couple today Georgia & Lumard who are keen to be the models. Both naturally gorgeous. A Sunday suits them both due to work commitments. So we are looking to make it happen anytime onwards after the 15h June.
Our aim is to have fun promoting our vintage & retro fashion & accessories.
BYO gear & lighting etc.

Unfortunately with what has unfolded & to protect our business going forward we have been advised to have CONDITIONS OF ENTRY posted on the front door.
These will be a set of contract terms that any person entering the store accepts by implied consent.
If any person who enters the store breaches those conditions staff have the right to invite or recite those terms to the customer/visitor (giving them the benefit of doubt if they didnt see or read the signage).
If those conditions are not complied with staff have the permission & right to ask that person/persons to leave.
What an unfortunate situation we find ourselves in; these measures are not intended to cause conflict or reduce your shopping/browsing enjoyment. It's to reduce our risk & keep us safe & our stock from being stolen or damaged.
If any discontent/dispute or aggravation arises with individuals over our decision to make this policy, you are not the customers for us and are not welcome. As a business and as individuals we have the right to take measures to protect ourselves & keep the premises & stock safe.
A temporary sign (which doesn't include all the terms) has been posted on the front door until proper/permanent signage is made. We have the right to amend conditions as needed.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
- remove all head coverings including hats, caps, wraps & helmets.
- remove sunglasses/visors & other face covering that inhibits facial recognition.
- no backpacks/ large bags or motorcycle helmets to be carried around the store. Customers are welcome to leave these behind the counter however the safekeeping of contents/items are the sole responsibility of the customer (the area is monitored).
- no video recording or still photography without permission. We understand you may want to take some pictures of particular items to share. We are happy to assist you.
- we DO NOT give permission for "social influencers & bloggers" to photograph/record or share the stores content.
- children under 10 to be supervised by the accompanying adult at all times. The parents/accompanying adults of children running/rushing around the store will be asked to supervise/control the child/children.
- no dogs allowed unless licenced/registered service dogs. No large dogs permitted. Small dogs at the discretion of staff & must be carried.
- bag/coat searches may be conducted upon visitor/customer exit if requested & are at the discretion of staff.
- the business "Blue Moon Collectables & Antiques" including any staff will not be liable for any items stolen or damaged that have been left in vehicles using the carpark or any damage to any vehicles. DO NOT LEAVE valuables unattended in your vehicle.

Our aim is to keep our doors open & continue trading/operating as a bricks & mortar store, browse, select & enjoy.

A heart felt thank you to everyone involved in the incident at Blue Moon Collectables around 450pm Wednesday 22nd April.
A shout out particularly to the Tyre Power crew who responded to the duress alarm. Enjoy the carton boys in our appreciation. In particular the employee who took pursuit & risked confrontation with an unknown assailant & then got a bollocking at home when he told his wife. Thank you 10 fold mate.
To all the other bystanders who I didn't get the names of in the cuffufle who watched the drama unfold & stepped in to assist. One of the detectives said if it had happened in Perth it would probably have been a different outcome where folk don't assist. It's great to give our community acknowledgement.
To the lovely lady & daughter (local small business operator just like us) who helped identify & stayed back to give witness statements thank you for being observant. The gentleman who thought on his feet & took phone video of the perpetrator & vehicles involved then rang the police, much appreciated. The local residents up on Patterson Rd who came out of their houses to render assistance & give witness thank you too. One gentleman popped in the shop on Thursday to ask about my welfare, much appreciated & kind of you.
Accolades to all the station police from Mandurah that arrived in record speed & all the other officers that followed, thank you for you assistance. To the Forensic team who came down from Perth, the Detectives who joined us in the long wait while security was reviewed & evidence collected. The genuine concern, professionalism & friendly banter helped pass the time. To the "chasers", the rapid pursuit team & Pol Air. Great job & much thanks. No one knows how much resources & time up front & behind the scenes that goes into fighting crime & the WA Police don't get enough respect & praise that they deserve. We thank you whole heartedly.
Final thanks to the Peel Health Campus team that gave me the care I needed to post incident.

EDIT: remember we are closed on Anzac day otherwise business as usual.

Final clearance week at Blue Moon Collectables and Antiques in Pinjarra on discounted ladies fashion items, up to 75% off, as we make way for winter coats, furs, clothes, shoes & accessories in the coming weeks.
The specials on the discount table inside & the baskets out front continue as well as we sort more space for vintage china, glass & other items.
