Like many small businesses in Port Fairy, we’ve noticed things feeling quieter lately.
Behind the doors of our local shops, cafés, studios and small businesses are real people — many are locally owner-operated, run by women and supported by working families — all working hard to keep our beautiful town vibrant and welcoming.
Small business can be a tough gig. There are long days, rising costs, quiet weeks and plenty of unseen work behind the scenes. But there is also an incredible sense of community here in Port Fairy, with businesses supporting one another, cheering each other on and doing our best to keep our town thriving.
